I've been the nexus for a minute, and gotta say was very reluctant to use vortex. However after my last trip just two seconds ago with my nexus mod manager---it uninstalled my mods, now it reads 0 for 'active mods' despite the fact that my mods are active and the game runs. and now my game gives me this: ^I've got a bunch of duplicate nps everywhere :hurr: :wacko: So I said, screw it, gunna probably have to reinstall anyway like I usually do. But let me try vortex and give it a go (probably should've done that from the start). Using it is surprisingly easy, as though the mods were rearranged in the load order, once the game had the mods enabled, it ran right up no problem. Anybody have any experiences with Vortex? Any hope for the new improvements the devs are gunna set in? And seriously, is there anything i should know before I get started with Vortex?

Cheers, everyone! This is my first time ever posting here. First, I wanna say a huge thank you to all the amazing and talented modders that have created mods such as CET, AMM and so, so many others. These have taken my experience in CP77 to the next level(s). I'm not a modder/programmer, I'm good at guitar and teaching music theory so I have literally no idea how modding works. That being said, I gotta ask: Is there any possibility that someone could make a ChatGPT-powered mod similar to the one with Herika in Skyrim? I think such a mod would simply blow my mind (and surely many others'). It seems to me like something incredible to be able to dynamically talk to Panam for example while roaming the awesome landscape of Night City. Of course, this could be applied to other characters. I guess the voice of each character can be duplicated, recreated and applied (I've seen clips with songs in which, for example Paul McCartney sings lyrics he never actually recorded, so the tech is already here. The voice made with AI was spot on). Again, I'm not a programmer, I can only try to imagine the complexity and amount of time such a mod would require. I'll wrap this up by saying that I'd gladly pay and contribute to such a mod. Cheers! p.s. I'm so happy I discovered this forum years ago. Hey I would like to have a group of fellow skyrim players/modders formed over Skype so any problems that arise for someone we can talk about it and help eachother. Eventhough there are plenty of help forums and videos I think that it might even be cool to have a little group going, plus I would like to meet some of the community. it tells me i do not have access to chat i dont know why it was all working for me the i got banned i didnt even get to talk with anyone. it was going crazy cuz NMM was down and people were freaking out like over 150 people in the chat. so I don't know if I got kicked for someone else doings. it doesn't tell me I'm banned just says I cant access ? I contacted sight support/admin got no response since January.

All I would like is to be able to reply to greetings, just one word would do "Greetings! or Hello" with the option not to use it. As anyone created a reliable mod that adds this ability?

After the fix to chat on 29 April, I noticed that the Emoticons panel won't load; also the Member list (right pane) won't update without a page refresh (F5). Avatars not displaying consistently/properly without page refresh is nothing new. Tested with Firefox 46.0 'Safe Mode' (add-ons disabled) after cache/local data cleared Tested with Chrome 50.0.2661.94 (no add-ons) I first observed these issues last night (Mar 01) Screenshot example: I never noticed these issues before the glitch with SSL and subsequent reversion/fix. Another chat user reports the same issue(s).

I don't know anything about modding myself, so I'm just going to ask: Would it be possible to make a mod that would pause everything else in the world during dialogues, like it used to be in Fallout New Vegas for example? The fact that everything keeps running in the back while talking glitched stuff out countless times... I've had to repeat conversations so many times because somebody pushed my conversational partner away or whoever I'm trying to talk to just won't stop walking themselves, constantly cancelling dialogue if they get too far away.. I honestly don't have a clue what Bethesda were thinking when they implemented that feature, it is completely broken. It annoys the crap out of me. If anyone could actually bring the game-pausing dialogue back that person would be my hero!

So, here's the issue. Today I have been persistantly told that the chat room limit has been reached, though I don't believe that is really the case. Some hours have passed now and the same problem persists, not letting me into the chat. This is what I get every time I attemp to join the chat room. It won't go away no matter how much I wait or try to enter the chat. Does anyone have any idea of what might be happening? As far as I can tell, I haven't been banned from the chat, because I did not break any rules.

Hey, I was just asking a simple question whether sharing a before paid mod was fine (Arissa) Which is gone from basically everywhere. Its a total douche move to ban me from chat. I wasn't even sharing the file. I was just asking before doing it. I would understand if you ban me for sharing the file... BUT I HAVEN'T EVEN SHARED ANYTHING! Im simply asking a question. If its about piracy, well you could have simply said "No you cannot share that file cause it'd be wrong" instead of banning me from chat.

When I talk to NPCs I have to fix the camera to look them in the face every time. My camera always looks down at their chest. I'm not looking for a mod that makes the camera act like it did in Oblivion though. The zoom in was really annoying. When I talk to my follower or a shop owner or whatever, I'd like the camera to focus on their face. I hope this mod idea is old and has already been addressed and someone here can point me to the mod. If not, I'd like to humbly ask someone to make it. xD

Hello all i was wondering if anyone could be so kind and help me with an issue i am having with skyrim right now the issue is i created a custom skyrim head and gone through 3ds max and its skinned and i copied the BS property from the original skyrim head so as i can add the same maps but this is where the problem comes in when i add all required texture maps the head goes oddly shiney and when i turn the camara in Nifscope the head looks as if it is glowing with black reflections also in the Creation Kit the face is black at one side and light at the other. so if any of you guys or Ladies would be willing to help me out with this issue because it has been bugging me now for days I would be most appreciated. I'm really sorry if this is the wrong place to post this, but...why was I kicked from chat? I think I know the reason why, and I'll explain it all here. I was asking a few people on the chat who were kind enough to help me with my modding issues. I really thought that I had the real, legit version of Skyrim. I bought it off of a friend for 30 dollars, stuck the disc in my PC, and installed it. But the people on the chat told me that all Skyrim games need to be registered on Steam to work, and that my friend probably sold me a pirated CD. This is completely new to me, since I have never used Steam before (Most of my games are on my PS3, I only buy single player games for my computer). Rest assured, I'm going to uninstall this fake Skyrim and look to purchase the real thing on Steam, if that's where you buy it from. I swear I had no idea that the game was pirated, and I'm going to confront my friend about it. I just ask from the staff not to ban me, since I had no idea, and as a fellow gamer I know how low piracy is and would never do it intentionally. All i ask is to have this little issue be overlooked and for me to be allowed in the chat again. Thank you for taking the time to read and consider this. P.S. The case for the CD looked real enough, it had the logos and everything, even the ESRB rating and Microsoft logo,so please don't accuse me of lying.

Does anyone know of a Twitch integration mod. Im thinking something that could let viewers effect what is happening in game. i.e. add buffs/debuffs, spawn random encounters, give items, etc. Does anyone know of any mods like this, or perhaps know how to make one? Is it even possible? Thoughts? :huh:

Hi there guys! I'm quite new regarding the NMS modding, and I have created few personal mods, but my biggest problem is I can't find is it possible to create mod that allows group member to chat from any point in the universe, not being limited to only the system they are in, I was searching for this option, but couldn't find anything networking related to it in the .MBIN files, or I missed it somewhere... :confused: So, I'll be very thankful if someone has any idea if this is possible, if so, to point me in the right direction or if he is willing to take a look at modding that particular problem, as is quite frustrating the limitation of the chat and not being able to talk from different systems with group members. Thanks!
