After all these years, has there been a fix for the glitch of faces of vampire player characters resetting to the race's default whenever you load up a vampire save? Of course, a workaround is to load up a non-vampire save before loading up the vampire save, but a fix would save me those precious seconds. Not sure if this glitch even happens on vanilla races, but I know for a fact that it occurs on custom ones.

I'm considering jumping back down the rabbit hole of ES modding. I found that Oblivion was marginally easier to mod than Skyrim. Obviously, I will first be installing all necessary unofficial patches. Afterwards... Yes, I will be "reclaim the territory" that was lost from Daggerfall. In other words, characters should be all nude if you strip them. Initially, I thought that this would be easy. Choose a nude mod for females (HGEC), and choose a nude mod for males (probably Robert's newest version, which I believe is 5, unless someone says otherwise). However, browsing through my download history, I found https://www.nexusmods.com/oblivion/mods/40048 Apparently, getting nude mods for both males and females screw up Khajiit textures. Obviously, this is not covered in the unofficial patch as it is a fix for a mod. Hopefully, this fixes that, but are there any other glitches that I should be aware of that are not covered by the unofficial patch? First of all, hello all, I've been very patient about this but now that the last DLC is out there is something I would really like, a compass. Basic compass - take away minimap, leave NSEW. Advanced Compass - Follow the likes of Skyrim with the Skyrim bar showing which way you are facing. Possibilities include what you would normally have on the minimap, only in this different style; markers of all sorts etc. Any of these would be so much appreciated the minimap just breaks the immersion so much, and surely it can't be too hard with the mods people are producing now? This would really make my day/week/month. I'll be spending a lot of time on this and hopefully if people like it you could port it over to new versions of the game for more renown? I'm not sure if this Elder Scroll yet exists in the world of the Elder Scrolls Series, but I find this idea would be quite lore friendly if done good. You could use one of the Vanilla elder scrolls, remove its effect and replace it with a resurrection on target spell effect. It wold be dope to make it have a unique "Elder Scroll reading effect" like all the strange symbols and the trip your dude has whenever they read an elder scroll in the world of Skyrim. .Also, to have your character carry it on their back as it is in their inventory would be cool. Well, hope a talented mod creator picks this one up, I'd much like to see this as a very lore friendly alternative to the other resurrection spells out there. Thank you if you decide to work on it.

Hey there! I'm having some issues regarding The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. The game is constantly stuttering/lagging despite me having hardware that's more than capable of running the game near, if not on max settings. (At least according to the official system requirements) I have a Asus notebook with these specs: Intel Core i5-5200U - 2.20 GHz 4 GB RAM NVIDIA GeForce GTX 950M - 2 GB Windows 10 (64 bit) Does anyone have any clues as to why this stuttering/lagging occurs? I had a much weaker PC just a year ago and it was able to squeeze more fps out of Oblivion than this notebook, so I'm quite clueless. Cheers!

Can anyone make a retexture of the Brotherhood's Paladin and Elder power armor? I want to keep the whole weathered look, but I hate the red accents on the arms and the inside of the shoulders. It's be nice if they were just the same color as the power armor itself, but maintaining the actual red insignia on the left arm.

What I mean by this is that when I let go of the analog stick (I play with controller) and I'm running backwards by using the 360 degrees mod I would want my pc to stay facing that direction, and that i would like for every direction ofc. Uh... I think that this is a similar glitch to what killed my Oblivion game, but enough reminiscing. Anyway, after months of doing other things, I decided to get back into Skyrim. Upon doing so, I realized that everything was out of date, so after a couple days of updating and reinstalling stuff (yeah, thanks, NMM), everything looked good on paper. Because there were several mods that require complete reinstallation, instead of just updating, I figured that my old saves were now unusable, and I had them deleted. However, upon starting a new game, after a few seconds of Alduin on a word wall, my game crashed. I know that one of reasons for games crashing on the Bethesda logo is because of missing masters. However, mine crashes on the initial loading screen. When loading up the game with SKSE, I got a message saying that TESVAL.dll is not designed to run on Windows or contains an error, but Skyrim still started up, so I paid it little mind. I have Fair Skin Complexion installed, so it might be that my computer cannot handle it, but I have since used Optimizer Textures to at least resize textures greater than 2048. This was usually enough. Still, this might even be a moot point because Fair Skin Complexion only affects females, and there are only male characters at the opening scene, such as Lokir, Ralof, and Ulfric (if one of the Legionnaires is female, then I wouldn't know). Here is my LOOT (I finally uninstalled BOSS for LOOT) load order and Papyrus log if they will help. Otherwise, I don't know of any better error trackers. LOOT Order Papyrus log

My favorite TES game is definetly TES-4 Oblivion just because I loved the main questline, and all the side quests I played. Of course I never finished everything in the game. I could have explored 100 dungeons and know that there were hundreds more to explore and clear later on! Never been so Immersed in a game like I was with Oblivion! :) Whats your favorite TES game?

I'm interested in a mod where you can take prisoners (or something that just generates random npcs who have committed a random crime) where on occasion you could witness them being executed. I remember there being one in Skyrim when you first enter Solitude, oh and also at the beginning of the game! However, Vanilla ES just doesn't show the true nature of a medieval setting - where in some cases you could even lose a hand as punishment for stealing a loath of bread! I've recently added some mods (don't know if these were actually added to by these mods or mod) and in Bravil there's rotten bodies of those who've committed serious crimes (I'm guessing) at the entrance to the city and also a hanging man inside the city. Cool feature I thought. And then I found some cool things in the Prison district:- Hangman's Row? Gallows and stocks and various skeletons of people who had been chained up and quite obviously, "accidentally" forgotten about. Again, a cool feature I thought. But I wish there was something more to it. Because I'm sure we all agree that law breakers should be punished to the maximum extent of the law.

Okay, so here's the basic idea. Skyrim on Skooma is a massive compilation enhancement mod meant to mix elements from a large variety of other mods in order to transform skyrim into an entirely brand spanking new game. Some mods from which I would like to borrow elements are: Frostfall Realistic Needs and Diseases Amazing Follower Tweaks Extended Encounters Tales of Lycanthropy Complete Crafting Overhaul Redone Skyrim Redone Convenient Horses Important Information Overhaul Violens Dawn of Skyrim series Harvest Overhaul Wearable Lanterns Dovahkiin relaxes too Civil War Overhaul Wet and Cold + additional content like Ashes and Holiday Windstad Mine Windstad Manor Fortified and Upgraded Heljarchen Farm Heljarchen Manor Fortified and Upgraded Dynamic Loot Helgen Reborn BLESSINGS - A blessings overhaul Follower Commentary Overhaul Guard Dialogue Overhaul ...and any other mods I find add a significant improvement to Skyrim, like iActivate. Obviously, this is an exceptionally ambitious project, so any help would be incredibly appreciated. (and if the authors of these mods are willing to lend their support, all the better). Now this is most undoubtedly going to be a GIGANTIC mod. And I probably won't finish it anytime soon, if at all since I tend to gravitate from project to project like a squirrel with ADHD. But hopefully I can find some way to get significant progress on this mod, or give it to someone in the community that will give it the proper attention it desires. Probably just hopeful wishing, but that won't stop me wishing anyway, (and hopefully contributing something worthy in the process.) Coming up will be a list of features I want to include in this mod, as well as (hopefully) a more extensive and detailed list on what things I would like to borrow from which mods, like the installers to make it easier to integrate which things you want in the game.

Every download of the Skyrim Script Extender takes me to http://skse.silverlock.org/. This page is white and has a little text on it. There's no buttons, My computer doesn't start downloading anything, I can't click anything. This page is featureless and useless. I can upload screenshots if necessary. How can I get the SKSE without this website? Or how can I otherwise make this website work? I'm frustrated to the point of going postal. Please help.

OK, first of all, know that I have Daggerfall but never completed it (wow, diseases in this game are deadly). However, in canon, what happens to the Hero of Daggerfall in the end? I've heard in some circles that the Hero dies at the end, but it appears much more vague than what happens to the Hero at the end of the other main games (Arena, Morrowind, Oblivion, Skyrim). Is this true? The main reason that I ask is because I've heard that Battlespire was originally meant to be an expansion to Daggerfall, so for RP's sake, would it be canon to have my Battlespire character based off of my Daggerfall character (obviously, this would make no sense if the Hero of Daggerfall dies in canon)?

I notice that dark elves in Battlespire (and some in Daggerfall: http://uesp.net/wiki/Daggerfall:Helseth) have brown skin and red eyes, rather than gray skin and red eyes, which more closely matches a lot of other fantasy lore for dark elves. In Skyrim, I often use mods to make my dark elf characters brown-skinned. And then, there are a couple dark elves even in vanilla Oblivion that had this skin color: http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Arvin_Dalvilu which appears to be a blend of brown and green. I don't see that in other fantasy lore. Don't over-interpret it. Just making some observations.

I could have really posted this in any of the Elder Scrolls sub-forums, but given that this one appears the most active, I will do it here. This is a serious question, and I'm not asking for screenshots or anything, just game names. Outside of modding, are Daggerfall and Battlespire the only 2 Elder Scrolls games to have official, in-game nudity? I don't mean implications of nudity. I mean stuff that you actually see.
