  1. Hi Nexus community. It's been a long time since I had the Idea for a mod that add the mechanic of the forts to Helgen. So what I mean is: You kill the bandits in Helgen and after some time there are Imperials or Stormcloaks present. I personally don't like the idea of Helgen reborn, but it would be nice, if cleaning Helgen from the bandits is reasonable. I'm not familiar in creating mods - I'm not even sure, if my idea is possible, but no risk in asking - so I would like to see, if there is an interest for this idea. If there is a mod like this already, please post a link to it, because then I'm obviously too dump to find it. :D Have a nice day! :)
  2. This is a mod request to rebuild the old Skyrim town known as Snowhawk. In TES V: Skyrim, Fort Snowhawk appears as a fort that can be captured during the Civil War. --------- http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Fort_Snowhawk In TES I: Arena, Snowhawk appears as a city that was in Tamriel during the Third Era and was located in Skyrim -------- http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Lore:Snowhawk http://img1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120304203546/elderscrolls/images/2/25/FortSnowhawkView.jpg So my vision for this mod is to be similar to the popular mod named Helgen Reborn in which the goal was to restore the ruined town of Helgen. Like Helgen reborn, citizens of Skyrim whould move into Snowhawk after its revival and would set up shops and so on.
  3. I was thinking how it would be nice a mod which adds the ability to dominate a fort. Like if all forts have bandit chiefs, and when I kill him/her I assume the control of the fort. Or simply killing all bandits and when they respawn it is under my command. Any ways of do that? Sorry about my english.
  4. Hi, I have been looking around but haven't been able to find it. I wish there were a mod that would create a fort type of mini game where you either defend of invade a fort and there are MANY waves of enemies. I feel like with the general fort there are such a limited amount of enemies that I finish forts too quickly. I want more archers showing up, more enemies per room. Make it something it is not easy to finish. Similar to the civil war overhaul that I've seen around but something I can start more often. Maybe a boat that needs to be taken to an Island where bandits or high elves have taken over a fort and I need to clean it up. This mod would be specially interesting for fast shooting archers. Where you have to shoot a large number of enemies, avoid incoming arrows and re-position yourself to avoid direct melee contact.
  5. Someone should really make use of fort greymoor, i would like to be able to live there and possibly build on there.
  6. I am looking for a player home of any kind thats functional. Im not sure if one already exists with these features and if one does please direct me to it. Im interested in the following features Plenty of Mannequins, i have Immersive armors and would love to be able to display more than 6 or 7 in a single home. Weapon Racks would be nice as well to go with imemrsive weapons. Shrines: Not only am i looking for the 9 divines, i am also wanting the other 5 (Nocturnal, Auriel, Mephala, Boethiah, and Azura). It sucks being an archer and not being able to do anything with Auriels cause its so secluded. All Crafting stations, including the Oven and Smelter if possible. (bonus: grain mill, apiary, fishery) Not overwhelmingly big like some of the castles are. Or empty. I like clutter that fills a room and makes it lively. Steward, Housecarl, bard. it sucks living alone sometimes. (bonus) Childrens Bedroom. (bonus) Decent Library (bonus) nice farming area or greenhouse. So yeah: essentially Heathfire Plus (and then some...) If anybody knows any mod that fills this or at least most of it, I would be grateful if i could be directed. Until then, ill be combing through one at a time... Jaggarsfeld was a nice home but lacks the shrines (which goes with its lore of being provided through Hircine)
  7. Am I the only one that thinks restoring Greymoor and making it much better would be sweet?
  8. I am currently working on a side project called "The Fort Expanded" I'm opening up the area behind the weather station for numerous additions to Legion activities. I'm here asking for any requests to add anything. Just some normal settlement things. I have a port down and something else is on its way. So I'd like to hear what the community would like to see and I will try to do it for you.
  9. I made this concept art for a viking fortress located between Roriksted and Whiterun. http://imgur.com/Oqme6qh http://imgur.com/QmC10Y2 -it uses Dragonborn and vanilla assets, nothing crazy. -Shields resting on te sides of houses -furs in the interiors of houses -Meadhall should have beer and foor and some weaponracks, but mut remain a feast place, no magic elements, no books nothing like that. -Player house should contain bed, alchemy, enchanting, some storage and furs and shields on walls -standing stones for religion immersion of the nordic tribe -love.
  10. well this idea might be a bit over ambitious but here I go. My idea was that you can create your own army and recruit everybody you want. Maybe even an army that big that you can take over cities. Or something like you have a lot of guards defending your home, fort etc. because it's always you attacking the mine or something. I want to defend myself against other people that try to kill me, but then with a whole lot of other soldiers. I'm not sure if it's possible but it sure would be awesome. If someone sees something in this idea please let me know ;) Greetings
  11. Dear Nexus, I've got an incredibly easy thing to ask for, I think. I actually wanted to do it by myself, but I tried, I failed, I tried again, failed again. If someone could give me a proper instruction of how to make the following, I would be most grateful. I want a small (!) fort, in which I can live with multiple followers. No huge towers, no overwhelming level of detail, nothing heroic or special. It shall contain: A court, surrounded by a stone wall. A house, in which I live with my followers. A proper storage room for trophies (nothing too heavy). A smithing station. Maybe a little garden. NO catacombs or anything. Basically, it's comparable to Fort Amol or any other average fort, just without catacombs, but with a house in the court. I gave so much details so you can tell me exactly what to do. I'm a complete noob and the CK drives me insane! If you could spare some time to help me, I'd be, as said before, so thankful! Oh, and forgive my mistakes, english is not my native language.
  12. So I asked about adding territory in the Arizona area and didn't have any luck, but I thought maybe there was someone willing to help out with something a little bit easier. So as a lot of my other posts have suggested, I really like the legion. I don't think they have nearly enough support in the community, and there is a serious lack of mods for them. Anyways this is going to be a long read, so if you're not interested in helping out or giving some sort of feedback/ideas you should probably stop reading here. 1. Add a quest to take over Ranger Station Echo. It's right next to cottonwood cove, and the rangers there are confident that they are safe. You could either lead a group of legionaries into it, or if that is too hard to make, just a simple quest that Aurelius of Phoenix or Decanus Severus gives you to take it over, which would result in XP, legion fame, and maybe a legion occupation or a greater legion presence in the area. 2. Legion patrolling certain areas. Certain areas that have been taken over by the legion like the Legion Raid Camp should be a little more populated, or at least have more legion patrolling the roads. I love the battle between the legion recruits and some traveling merchants near that camp. 3. Legion merchants. I would really like to see this. Even some traveling merchants in Legion Controlled areas or maybe at Cottonwood Cove or something that help the legion. I hate how all of the traveling merchants are always hostile to legionaries, no matter what. 4. More quests in general. The legion has very few side-quests, and I think there could be some great ones like "help sneak some legionaries into -INSERT NCR CAMP HERE- and help them take over." And then have that camp be occupied. 5. More troops at Nelson. I asked for something like this earlier but got no response so I thought it would just be easier to add more troops to Nelson, or maybe make some sort of assault on Camp Forlorn Hope that you can help out with. 6. More commanders. There is a serious lack of leadership in the legion camps, and I've seen most camps go without any sort of commander or leadership at all. Maybe if you kill a certain leader then legionaries stop respawning at that camp, or visa versa where if you kill an NCR commander, the legion takes over the camp. 7. Helios One. This is a big one for me. After killing the NCR troopers at helios one, the legion sends a mere two soldiers there, and the faction on the main map doesn't change. Realistically control of Helios One would also mean access into Novac (which is guarded in the front by Boone, but the legion can easily slip in the back) and it would mean an easy route through the Scorpion Gulch/Hidden Valley areas. Something as simple as adding more legionaries to Helios One after the takeover or maybe a small assault quest to kill all NCR related citizens in Novac (Boone, Manny Vargas, and Ranger Andy) before having the legion come in for security. This is also where the Legion merchants could come into play as well. 8. Another Camp about halfway up the coast. So the Legion controls lots of areas in the southeast portions of the Mojave, but there are also locations like Ranger Station Charlie and Legion Raid Camp that are closer to the middle of the map, which sort of begs the question. Did they manage to walk all the way from cottonwood cove through the ghouls, Ranger Station Echo, and camp searchlight without any sort of fight along the way? I feel like some sort of camp about halfway up the coast or maybe legionaries walking from Cottonwood cove to the raid camp is needed. 9. Last one! I really want more battles between the factions. Even if it means adding more NCR guards at some outside areas of some bases and just adding a couple of legionaries that are bound to lose, I think it's needed. In the vanilla game there are so many NCR troopers that the NCR could just take all the rangers from, say, three ranger stations and maybe some of the troopers and rangers from Camp Golf and wipe out the entire legion presence in the Mojave. I want to see that the NCR is being pushed, under constant threat from the legion, and struggling just to survive. Obviously the battles would just be at certain areas, but I think there is some way it could be implemented. If you read through the whole thing, thank you, and if you didn't, I just listed a few things I wanted to see that involved the Legion. I don't know how to mod, but if anyone who does likes these ideas, it would be great to see a couple of them implemented.
  13. This is the current mod I am working on http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/53969/? I would like if someone would be able to take a copy of the file and help me out a bit with the design and NPC behaviours. I would like to eventually wall the whole thing and add a loading door/gate so it would work the same as solitude, riften, white run etc. And yes Credit will be given! Thanks, I am also working on this if you'd like to do the same. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/54011
  14. OK... hear me out, Can you imagine being able to build or rebuild a fort or bandit camp into your own village or castle or settlement, because I can! it would be so amazing not to mention AMAZING! Obviously not any forts that are story based for any important quest lines. Picture something like 'Helgan Reborn' but without the quest line... ... For example: ~You slay the bandits necromancers or whom ever pre inhabits the location. ~Then you set up and outpost hire builders, guards, ECT... ~Instead of building it yourself like 'Hearthfire' , you give your specifications to your chief architect and it gets built over time.....With your money of course. (IMMERSION) ~You choose you political standing (Empire, stormcloak, Aldmeri, neutral... ~Or maybe Deadra worshippers or necro cult or what have you... ~Choose whether you want your friends and followers to live their or open it up to random NPC's ~After its finished choose whether you will be Jarl, Bandit chief, ECT... ...or will you hand that responsibility over to another and run your settlement from a distance Honestly I could make this but I'm not as good as a lot of modders out there in the community  If someone makes this I don't care if i'm not credited I will just be happy to have the mod for my skyrim play-throughs ______________________________ Regards, MyMy (AkA = CoonCheese)
  15. Cleared fort near whiterun. Slept in the bed. Put some stuff in the chest. My fort?
  16. Hi I'm looking for a fortress which would work as house for my char. I checked about 20 pages of nexus searching for it and still can't find it. There are a lot of beatiful, clean, vamp-like castles with blacksmiths, shops and all things I don't need. What I need is a raw, dirty and ugly fortress, even a ruin, something like fort dawnguard, but more ugly. Maybe some of you saw something like this? It can be simple bandit castle, withous spawning npc and storage, more than 1 bed would be great too.
  17. Hey there. Just want to give an idea about a mod that could be done, a mod about being a Bandit Leader. You would clear a dungeon/camp/fort, took it over and hire staff to work for you, like: Warriors, Cook, Smith, Archers, Mages. You could use a table like in Hearthfire to upgrade your Lair in order to be able to build a forge, library, kitchen, training ground, alchemy lab and more, and them hire the needed staff to work on these places and sell items. You could send you soldiers/bandits into quests on groups, like delving into a dungeon, attacking some caravans for money. You yourself could go into some misc quests with a group to attack some caravans like in the Civil War questline in order to get some Silver/Gold and some resources to make your treasure larger, raid villages, forcing someone to give you stuff for "protection", assassinating rival bandits. Sometimes you would be attacked by groups of Guards or Adventurers sent by the local Jarl to kill you and clear your Lair, so you would need to defend it from attacks from time to time, and watch your back on the roads for rival bandits, mercenaries and guards looking for you. It would be awesome to see something like this, your NPCs would be generated by the mod with random lore-friendly names and if they die during a quest, you could hire another bandit to replace him. Maybe when the mod gets fully-developed you would be able to even build a lair anywhere, just like the ones on "Mount & Blade Warband: Vinking Conquest" where you can set a camp anywhere. This idea came from this DLC anyway. Please put some sugestions here and I hope some talented modder would do this.
