I have RDR2 on steam. I have Vortex and have downloaded several RDR2 mods. I have followed numerous videos and âhow toâsâ on how to download and install Vortex. Along with how to download mods. I also have the correct file path for the RDR2.exe. However, I cannot get mods to work in Vortex. They are downloaded, installed, and RDR2 is ready but they are not showing up. For example, some mods have hot keys of some kind and there are not working. Anyone have some advice or have another thread that talked about RDR2 on Steam and using Vortex?

Hello, I've recently been wanting to mod my Fallout game, and so I took to nexusmods to download Vortex However, upon downloading it, it fails to launch. If I try to launch it from my desktop, it doesn't open, if I try to launch it by searching for it, it doesn't open, nor does it open directly from its download location in my files I have no idea what the problem is so I'm unsure on how to fix it, but I have tried reinstalling it, restarting my PC, running it as administrator and yet nothing has worked Has anyone else experienced this? If so, is there a way to fix it?

Lately I've been noticing Virus Scanner Popups are appearing more on Nexus and normally I would never see any of those here at all. Last time I had an encounter with those popup virus scanner claiming to be McAfee was a couple years ago and I reported it to the admins. They found out why it was happening and they stopped it. Now in 2021 of November those McAfee pop ups are happening right after viewing a mod now. Any chance that these can be looked at? I know we have those normal ads that we normally would see but the ads I've now seen are capable of redirecting a users to somewhere else. Thanks.

I've been playing fallout recently and since yesterday i can no longer play fo4 due to crashing on startup and I don't know what's causing it as all my mods have worked perfectly fine in the past and the last time i opened the game it had completely restarted all my mod data and so i manually crashed fallout 4 and since then it no longer will let me plat. could anyone please help me fix this problem as i do not want to lose all my hard work on my save

So, I've recently attempted to start playing "Fallout: New Vegas" and I of course tried to download modifications for my game as the base game is simply not sufficient to my needs and desires for my gaming experience. I am a complete idiot when in regards to modding and the modding community and despite reading a thread posted on the this website previously, I still could not figure out what exactly was wrong with my game. If anyone could be of assistance, please help me!

Hey fellow gamers i got a fancy new rig awhile back and since then i've been trying to get some mods working but me still being a pleb at this sort of thing i've ran into issues i'm hoping i can get some insight from people who know what they're doing here's my mod list: The problems i've been having is with the mods i've been crashing when i try to walk to Riverwood from Whiterun if i just sit at the stables it's fine i've tried going different ways from different locations but nothing seems to fix it.

So, I tried to install some mods on Xcom 2 and my game is not opening anymore. After some time I figured out is because the Mod Laucher changes the "DefaultModOptions.ini" commands to run the mods. If I deactivate the mods the game starts normally I have this print but it is in PT-BR

i uninstalled pipboy readius and now my game is broken every time i press the key to bring up my pipboy it's just nothing i all i see is my hand and the sound of a pipboy please help me this mod is ruining my game.

I'm working in a custom kilt for vampire lords in human form (a combination of 2 armors). It's all done, but the first time I added it to the game, my character went naked and shining. Tried removing the body and the model itself shows in game but with no animations, and my torso is invisible. Any help? Sorry for being a complete noob :( It's my first time modding

I have recently purchased Skyrim and began modding it, I have 94 mods and 98 plugins. The issue is that whenever I am playing I will randomly CTD. This happens every 30 to 60mins. I also doubt that it is a hardware related issue (my game runs an ultra high settings with graphical mods at 60fps). I done 3 clean uninstalls, reinstalled all my mods 2 times, I use Nexus Mod Manager, SKSE and order my plugin list according to LOOT, however still my game experiences these CTDs. I have no idea what the issue is. Any help would be appreciated. Hello there, I am new to modding in skyrim and I have been watching tutorials to get a hang on it. One of my friends asked me if I could put a giant Mehrunes' Razor on top of the Throat of the World. The problem is that I have no idea how to do this. I am trying for it to be the size of the talos statue in Whiterun. Again does anyone know if I will have to make a 3D model? I tried to change the Talos statue base with the Mehrunes Razor , but the statue just becomes a small razor. Can I make a custom statue, if so how? (Sorry if the title is too general)

Hey guys, Im completely new here and have never ever modded before but I figured Id start somewhere. So I downloaded the Nexus Mod Manager and downloaded and installed two mods in particular. 'Better Dialogue Font 1.1' and 'Better Heads'. On the Mod Manager it shows they're installed and active, but even though I returned to old saved games and made a few new games, Im not seeing them in affect in-game. Any help here? Thanks. P.S. Im using the Morrowind disc version found in the Elder Scrolls Anthology Bundle, might as well mention this since there is a few different versions. P.S.S. I havent downloaded any of the Morrowind DLCs even though alot of these mods require them, but to my knowledge neither of the two mods I downloaded and installed require them.

So, I downloaded NMM, and then a bunch of mods for Skyrim, Special Edition, in the hopes that I might enjoy a great game with the extras. At first everything was slow, so I took out a few mods. Now, strangely, everything is running too fast, so fast that I can't control my character. I'm not finding anything useful on how to fix this problem, has anyone had these same problems and perhaps found a fix for it?

Greetings! As you might have guessed, I'm having some issues in the Skyrim SE Creation Kit, and so I've come to you for help because I don't know where else to go for the moment. Also, before you ask, I have Googled and searched through YouTube tutorials in search of solutions to these specific problems, but to no avail. So, here are the issues that I'm currently having: 1. I've created and uploaded a mod for Skyrim SE (Located HERE) on bethesda.net for PC, PS4, and XB1, but I seem to be the only one who can't get it to play. Also, I did in-fact take this mod from the Skyrim LE version. Whenever I enable it on my PC and head back to the main menu, the message pops up saying that it needs to confirm the order of my mods or whatever, but then it proceeds to load for an infinite amount of time. When this happens I am forced to CTRL + ALT + DELETE to end Skyrim. When I try to load up Skyrim after this, it runs but as a background process for some reason. I was able to fix this by deleting the "Plugins.txt" file from AppData/Local/Skyrim Special Edition. Once this done I am back to square one and Skyrim is able to run but I can't enable my own mod. I've tried deleting all my mod's content from my PC and downloading a fresh install through Skyrim and enabling it in different load orders but it always ends the same. As of right now it seems to be a labour of love as I get to see everybody else enjoy my mod but me, but I hope that one day I can enjoy it again as well. Now, on to issue number two. 2. I am also creating a new race mod that shall remain nameless and descriptionless for now, but one thing I cannot seem to figure out is how to remove the starting spells (Flames and Healing) for this particular race, and none of the others. I have tried removing the starting spells from the custom male and female presets that my race uses, but again I have found no such luck. 3. Another thing that I need to figure out how to create a Lesser Power for this race that forces the character to enter third-person view while the character performs an animation. I haven't actually searched for this problem's solution yet but I figure that since I'm here why not see if someone can point me in the right direction. Hey, I'm trying to play Oblivion with some overhaul mods like OCO and Robert's Male Body Replacer v52 but somehow I'm having issues due to the fact that they're conflicting and I don't know how to fix it, I tried everything I could remember but it doesn't help. Hello. I have recently been digging up some textures I started but didn't finish, I found my old Atom Cats Paint Job for the X-01 Power Armor, but for some reason Nifskope isn't registering the custom texture, instead is over-riding my custom with the base texture and yet when you click on Edit UV it shows up. So all the paths are right but my Atom Cats isn't showing up in the render view. Does anybody know why?

I am having some frame rate problems with Fallout 4. At seemingly random times, the game would drop from 59-60fps to 1-20fps. The problem only happens outside and I do not have to be in the cities for it to happen. I have tried lowering the shadow distance, removing mods and starting fresh, removing godrays, tweaking the ini files, and more. What baffles me is that this is a recent problem; I have removed the recently installed mods and the problem persists. I have noticed that when the drop occurs, my temps are all around 41C and the CPU and GPU usages are never above 51%. The only thing that I have not tried is completely uninstalling the DLCs (I bought them all at the same time). Could someone please help me out, I can't think of anything else to do. Any help will be greatly appreciated. Ok, so every once in a while, when I play Fallout 3, I'll play for idk maybe an hour or more, when I enter a room, or use the coc command, sometimes the game dosn't load and just goes to a black screen, no music, no sound, nothing, just an epty, black, screen, and I can't get out of it either! I can't force it to desktop, I can't use the task manager to force stop it, all I can do is either make my toolbar show by pressing the windows key + D or turn the pc off (or sign out, they both really do the same, close EVERYTHING I HAD UP!) this is really frustrating when I'm in a mission and suddenly the game dies and the last auto save I had was about 500 raiders and ammo boxes of loot ago, of what I can tell, no one else is having this problem, although I am using mods, but this started happening when I first got the game and was trying to get it to work on windows 10, (a really annoying process that I'd be unhappy to have to do again) back to the problem, the black screen, the only solution I've found is to sign out and close everything, then wait the 50 years it takes for steam to load back up, and wait for my PC to realize it's on and doing a thing, (another 50 years) (Pfft, more like 500 years) but I wish there was some way, maybe some code that when the game goes unresponsive it loses automatically and gives a report on what happed, (like how Minecraft used to do with their launcher, I wouldn't know if it still happens I've not crashed Minecraft, yet, and I don't play it nearly as much as Skyrim or Fallout 3) so in conclusion, MODDERS! MAKE A SYSTEM THAT AUTO CLOSES THE GAME! Thank you!

So my game keeps crashing at the beginning of the game, but what is weird is that it has done it at different spots. It at first was doing it at the title page so I uninstalled all my mods and it stopped. Then it crashed right before character creation. Then it crashed again after character creation. And now it keeps crashing at the same spot- right when the dragon blows fire. It's really bugging me because I just wanna play the game. I've done so much to fix it and nothing is helping. I installed a crash fixing mod, reset my graphics card to all its defaults, reinstalled the game, removed mods from the readme in notepad, set the graphics lower, removed too many frame rates, etc. I watched videos and read so much. NOTHING IS WORKING. There's nothing wrong with my laptop, it's a new Lenovo. It has a good graphics card with lots of settings. It has PLENTY of space as I do not have any other games on it. The only weird things I've noticed throughout this process are: 1. Every time I launch the game Steam tries to install Direct X but I already have Direct X 12 2. In the "data files" box I deleted all the mods but 2 of them won't delete. The two that won't delete were previously causing me crashing issues. However, I unchecked the boxes. I noticed they became checked again after the game crashed. This is weird. I don't know how to remove the mods as they aren't in the data file folder, because I deleted them. I don't know why they're still there. If anyone can help it would be very much appreciated!
