  1. The essential NPC's is very enoying in my opinion. How they fall to the ground, and just comes up again fine. It is kind immersion breaking, because you kinda feels that these characthers is sorta better then the player. However.. Could it not be possible that the characthers became unconcious for an extented period of time? Like say two in-game months. Or that the player, or a healer (priest) could revive them. Perhaps we could create hospitals for them, or somewhere to move them when they falls over. As a unconsious man in the street, may look very silly when the attack is over. I realize ofcourse why they are essential to begin with. But it most be some other way to make them a bit more mortal. I hope to discuss this with you people, and hear a bit of brainstorming. I am sure there most be some great ideas out there. - HoratioCaius
  2. If there's something I really don't like in Skyrim, this is the followers. Because they can't die. It doesn't matter if they are fighting a dragon with their bare hands, or they are hit by one hundred arrows; they just take a knee, the enemy forget about them and a few seconds later they are back to the fight, totally unharmed. As far as I understand, all followers are flagged as PROTECTED, meaning they can be killed only by the player. They are not ESSENTIAL, meaning they simply can't die, not even by the player's hand; however, whereas it's quite easy to remove the essential flag using the console, apparently there's no command to remove the protected flag. I also tried some mods, like Amazing Follower Tweaks, Enhanced Followers Framework and NPC Protection Tweaks, but for some reason they don't work: even tweaking the follower status to unprotected, he/she still won't die (in fact in AFT the follower can die but he automatically resuscitates after the combat, which sucks.) Volatile Followers looks as the only mod that works (according to the comments in the mod page), but unfortunately it was never ported to SSE so I can't use it. Do you have any idea/recommendation/suggestion if it is possible to remove the follower's protected status in SSE?
  3. Before the official patch 1.9, followers/companions while having the protected status, could still die due to a "bug". Refer to the bug section on the link below. http://www.uesp.net/wiki/Skyrim:Protected_NPCs I actually liked this "bug" because it made me actually care about my followers, actually gave them better gear and weapons since there was a chance I'll lose them if I don't. Now, I don't care about them because they can't die anyways. I know that I could make my character mortal through console command setessential 0 (I don't know if this works or not) or through a mod, but I still want my character to enter bleedout so they don't die That easily. Is it possible, and if so, can anyone make a mod that reverse the bug and bring the bug back making all followers mortal with bleedout/healing?
  4. Hey Guys I am trying to create a Raider Settlement with the Raiders from the Raider Overhaul Mod since i dont like the ones form Nuka World. I am Pacify them and using Amazing Follower Tweaks to make them Settlers. The only Problem i have is that the Raiders are still Mortal and i want them to be flagged as Protected. So i can kill them if needed but other NPCs cannot if my Settlement gets attacked. I tried to set them to Protected with the Creation Kit and with Console Commands but they are still Mortal and can be killed by other NPCs. I tried a lot of things but it somehow doesnt work. Is there a way to make this working?
