  1. I've been thinking quite a lot lately about how the Militech Canto works visually. The cyberdeck is great, with or without mods, but what's always annoyed me is the fact that quickhacks on other things, like cameras and turrets, don't apply the blackwall effect despite the fact that it does when Songbird uses it on objects and machinery (assuming she uses the Canto). I think it would be brilliant if all device quickhacks carried Blackwall residue. I understand that this might not make complete sense considering that it doesn't require the Blackwall to do these quickhacks however I feel it would heavily add to the aesthetic of the Canto to have those lingering effects after quickhacks the same way Songbird has the lingering effects on hers. In theory this would also include the sound design, however I feel like that's not as crucial of an element. I wasn't really sure what to do with this because I'm not capable of modding this in but I still feel like not sharing it could be a waste. I'd also love to read other people's input on this. To add to this, things like turrets could potentially have glowing red lights similar to the Chimera during it's possession, not sure how difficult adding that would be though and how exactly it would work or if it's even a good idea. Also, if someone wanted to go all out with this mod, they could rework the canto to work in a specific way. Here’s the idea. Since the Militech Canto is supposed to be an endgame item, it could have no quickhack timers and delay since the entire point is that you’d be using the Blackwall to hack into the devices which would be much much faster. This would actually turn the Canto into what I believe it’s actually supposed to be combined with the added effects of the Blackwall to signify how you’re hacking things with such ease. Also, you could make it so it either has more ram or doesn’t use ram at all but that’s a big maybe as I think the Blackwall gateway quickhack is supposed to eat into your health via overclock and that makes complete sense canonically so maybe just on devices or something.
  2. Hello NexusMods Forum members and modders, I hate that my first post is a request, but I'm astounded that there's not more as far as music enhancement goes. Don't get me wrong, I love the vanilla jingles, but this game was advertised to me as a Fallout in space. The best thing about any Fallout game (notably New Vegas, as it was also produced by Obsidian) is the music, and the options for other music if you're not a fan of what's currently playing. This game doesn't have that. Surely, there must be a modder out here willing to be the Mr. New Vegas or 3 Dog for the cosmos.
  3. Silly to ask, but, would be really cool to have a song replacement with nier songs like we had in Monster Hunter World / Iceborn
  4. What if there was a mod where we could have a theme song whenever we activated DRAGON ASPECT!? I mean... How come there's mods where Alduin has a custom theme song, same going for Miraak, but why can't we, THE LAST DRAGONBORN NOT HAVE A THEME SONG!? ...sure, we have the theme song at the main menu for vanilla Skyrim- but I'm talking like, SUPER FORM theme song. How come characters like Natsu Dragneel, Naruto Uzumaki, OR literally Goku have super form theme songs? It would encourage people to use this form more, because let's face it, not a lot of people go far into the game to get Dragon Aspect. If we were to make a theme song mod for this form, perhaps it'll allow more game-time for long-time users- like me! TLDR: What if there was a mod where we could have a theme song whenever we activate Dragon Aspect? I know it's possible, but I don't know how to do it since CK is really hard to understand. Theme songs such as these three would be very nice to hear in-game every time we activated Dragon Aspect. Dragon Force A Beautiful Song Otar The Foul Imagine being able to hear custom theme songs of YOUR own choice with the Dragon Aspect overhauls of changing colors, adding wings, or making the form stronger. This is something I really want, not just for myself- but perhaps other people too! A small tutorial on how to do it would be very nice as well.
  5. I play Fallout 4 on the Xbox One since PS dont have access to all the extra mods. I have looked and have not found one yet, n I have no way of making a mod I want. So I was wondering if someone could make a simple mod that just adds the Halloween theme song from the movies to like a holotape or something. I just downloaded a Michael Myers outfit n would love 2 have the music 2 listen 2 while running around dressed as him at nite killing enemies.
  6. Hello everyone! As the title states, a cinematic ending with a cool song would improve the shitty ending of FO4 quite a bit. And even though I'm not sure what the rules are on mods with copyrighted songs, I'm sure a cinematic outro with a nice song in the background would be pretty damn neat! Here's a song I'd suggest for the ending: , because it (At least for me) feels like no matter what you do in the game, the world you know was changed completely within a matter of minutes because you were frozen until 210 years later, making you kind of the only person that remembers it all so clearly. Kind of creates a sad lonely feeling when you think about it. Thanks for reading my suggestion. Have a nice day .
  7. Heyaaa guys and gals !! Greeting I am L please, anybody that feel confident designing FACE for NPCs I need 20 different Nice faces for bards --- I will credit you of course --- they will be placed in bars and inns across Cyrodiil got the full set mp3 songs from talented song writer Malukah + permission, and now I just need the decent NPC :) so THAT beautiful voice of her not ruined by some potate faces :teehee: you not need to create as far as picture below, I put there just for the reference :D and eye candy ! ...
  8. I'm not exactly their biggest fan, but power metal band Blind Guardian has a song that I keep imagining hearing in Skyrim's taverns, The Bard's Song. I can also picture them doing covers of Skyrim's tavern songs, although Jeff Winner over at YouTube seems to do a good enough job as it is. Anyone else imagine, or actually listen to epic power metal while adventuring? I've seen mods that bring it into the game, but I mostly just background Spotify or something.
  9. The indoor music you hear in some inns and in Dohvakiin's Warehouse really reminds me of the song "Piano Man," by Billy Joel. I couldn't stop writing the Skyrim version in my head, set to this music, so I decided to write it down and share it with you for the fun of it. GREAT COLLEGE BARD It's nine o'clock on a Loredas A guard asks me what do I need There's an old mage sitting next to me Makin' love to his Honningbrew mead He says "I'd much love to hear you sing Ragnar the Red - I've rather forgot how it goes. These fools on the street keep changing the words - And their version seriously blows." Dum de de dum de de dum dum Dum dum de de dum de dum Sing us a song You're the great college bard Sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a thu'um or three And you've got us feelin' alright Now Delpine at the Giant's a friend of mine She gets me my drinks for free And she's quick with a joke When the room's full of smoke And the room rent's as cheap as can be She says "This High Hrothgar business is killing me," As a smile ran away from her face "Well, I'm sure that I could be the Dragonborn, If I could just shout in his face." Now Ysolda's a Khajiit enthusiast Who complains about starting a life And she wants to begin her own caravan Now instead, she's becoming a wife And Belethor is selling his sister now And Vilja said she'd do the same What the hell is wrong with these dumb villagers? Do they have any level of shame? Dum de de dum de de dum dum Dum dum de de dum de dum Sing us a song You're the great college bard Sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a thu'um or three And you've got us feelin' alright It's a pretty good crowd for a Loredas And the Dragonborn gives me a smile 'Cause he knows that it's me they've been comin' to see To forget Ulfric's mess for a while And Lydia still needs to bathe thoroughly And Brenuin's drinkin' cheap wine Yet another guard has taken an arrow to the knee But the Dragonborn's doin' just fine Dum de de dum de de dum dum Dum dum de de dum de dum Sing us a song You're the great college bard Sing us a song tonight Well, we're all in the mood for a thu'um or three And you've got us feelin' alright
  10. Hi nexus, I've just released a mod on the Steam Workshop that I will be putting up on the nexus in the next few days. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=548209973 I wonder if someone may be kind enough to point me in the direction of a good guide that can tell me how to upload to nexus after working in the Creation Kit? This is my first Skyrim mod and I'm not familiar with the processes. I've googled lots but wonder if there is a guide that is 'best'? Cheers, Pete
  11. Whats your favorite song and the lyrics to go along with it? Mine: Lynyrd Skynyrd- Free Bird Lyrics: If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me? For I must be travelling on now, 'cause theres too many places I've got to see. But if I stay here with you girl, things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now, and this bird you cannot change, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, And this bird you cannot change, and this bird you cannot change, Lord knows I can't change (Slide guitar solo) Bye, bye, baby it's been a sweet love, yeah, yeah, though this feeling I can't change. But please don't take it so badly, 'cause Lord knows I'm to blame. But if I stay here with you girl, things just couldn't be the same. 'Cause I'm as free as a bird now, and this bird you'll never change, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, And this bird you cannot change, and this bird you cannot change, Lord knows I can't change, Lord, help me, I can't change Lord I can't change, Won't you fly high Free Bird, yeah, (Long guitar solo) https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=QxIWDmmqZzY
  12. So as part of GoE, we actually already have someone slated for the position of voice actor in the vein of ThreeDog. There are dozens of guides on how to make a radio station, so that's not what I'm asking. What I'm wondering if how I go about having an interactive radio announcer, namely one that comments on the player's actions throughout the storyline of GoE, just like Three Dog (and I think Mr. New Vegas does...honestly, I rarely listen to that station). In addition to this, how does one attach the "song announcement" to a particular song? It is as simple as linking a piece of dialogue to a specific song, or is there something special...or even simpler? (add the voice recording to the beginning/end of the song itself). Finally, I remember that whenever I entered my Megaton home and I had the radio playing, Three Dog would always be on a news segment (at least as far as I can remember). In fact, usually when I turned on the radio even on the PipBoy, it usually started with a news segment unless you've been flipping channels or listened to it recently. Anyone have some experience on how that's handled? Thanks folks. I appreciate the help, as always. :) -NI
  13. Hi there. Just wanted to give a mod idea (and in the meantime learn if it's possible with what modding tools we have at our disposal): Switching out the main menu song with the main theme of the original Witcher. Here's the link to the song in question: Thanks in advance if it's possible. And if it isn't, thanks anyway. Ta ta.
  14. simple mod, a companion of the Big Iron, the cowboy that had killed the outlaw, add a quest if you want, like the songs "story" or lyrics.
  15. very basic I'd assume just a mod to change the storm call shout to be the song of storms.
  16. I want to talk about the lyrics of some bard songs in Skyrim, particularly of The Dragonborn Comes. I appreciate that bards sing songs in the game, but it always gets me how awkward they sound - Is there any real, in-lore reason to why the lyrics sound like they're clumsily translated from some other language, and on top of that, almost like it has been heavily modernized? They don't sound like it's from an old, legendary folk song. I mean, I'm sorry but it's more like something scribbled in 5 minutes with words that first come to mind. "Our hero, our hero Claims a warrior's heart I tell you, I tell you The Dragonborn comes With a voice wielding power of the ancient nord art Believe, believe the Dragonborn comes It's an end to the evil of all Skyrim's foes Beware, beware the Dragonborn comes For the darkness has passed And the legend yet grows You'll know, you'll know the Dragonborn's come" There's just a lot of cringy immaturity to it. There is none of that elusive, crafty folk-ish spirit. It really does sound like it's written in 2011 instead of being "A legend we all know and love" from a long time ago. To me, it's far too straightfoward, banal and doesn't seem to use any lyrical tools to do anything. As if they were trying really hard to get a point across and avoid being too mystical, to the point where there's really nothing there anymore. (The Age of Aggression/Oppression are a little better imo, but they too have some very obvious rhymes and choices of words) At most, I think it has the tone of a lullaby, maybe. Any comments?
  17. Howdy! As the title says, when listening to my Radio Station in New Vegas, sometimes, songs changes randomly at the middle of the other, not at the end you know? Do anyone know how to fix that? I don't remember doing anything wrong while creating the mod at G.E.C.K Thanks (Sorry for my english btw)
  18. Mikael: "Here's one of the first songs I ever learned-" Me: "Let be guess: Ragnar the Red again?" Did anyone ever notice that there are only five songs in all of Skyrim? -Ragnar the Red -The Dragonborn Comes -The Age of Aggression -The Age of Oppression -Tale of the Tongues That's not a lot, and two of those are just the same song with slight differences. What gives? Are these songs the only ones in existence or something? I know it would be very difficult to add other songs to these existing bards, but what's stopping you from making another NPC that can sing some other songs? Spread a few of them around the various taverns, and make it so the other bard keeps their mouth shut while they are singing. Now, I know that the main problem with this would be voice actors, but come on. You guys have never let that stop you before, so I see no problem why it should be a problem now. Let's get some new songs in there. I'm really getting tired of hearing the same thing sung over and over and over and over and over and over and over...
  19. Hello! This mod adds a conducting mechanic to the game and lets you conduct Skyrim's Song Of The Dragonborn with a fully voiced choir. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/650/ I'd be grateful if anyone interested would try it out and offer any feedback, along the lines of: How difficult/easy were the conducting mechanics? At the moment I feel it might be too difficult and I will update this depending on what people feel.Would there be interest in a Christmas Carol version of this mod in time for December? What did you think of the Musical weapons/spells?Would there be interest in different versions of the Dubstep Spell?Should there or should there not be a questline with this mod? Thanks, PeteTheBard (Pete) (I am a Bard)
  20. It's called Kick Off the Dust. I had wrote it in mind for a Fallout: New Vegas mod I'm making, tell me what you think? Cheers.
  21. I've looked all over for a mod that replaces skyrims menu music with morrowinds theme song and I can't find it anywhere. Is this possible and if it has already been done can someone please refer me to the mod? If not is someone able to make this mod?
  22. Just an idea! Have the Jurassic Park theme somehow caked into the Skyrim repertoire, specifically at dawn only at random (not all the time so it doesn't get too old too fast) in the most scenic areas of the world, where blizzards aren't constantly blowing, when rain isn't coming down. I don't know how modding works, so I'm not sure if everything I've asked can be done, but if anyone is interested, I'm sure that a mod like this will receive love from many nostalgia-seeking adventurers like me!
  23. Everybody posts one line from the song in sequental order until the song is finished. Then, whoever finished it picks another "Brain Damage" The lunatic is on the grass.
  24. Hi nexus! There is now a video of the mod that lets players conduct a choir for the Song of the Dragonborn. I'm really keen to get some feedback about the mod so hope that players will try it out for themselves. Cheers, PeteTheBard
