Okay, so Kosnag and I have been working together with other modders to create this addon. The original idea was to overhaul the in-game Su-33 Flanker-D aircraft, which, let's be honest, it's pretty lousy. It's by far the weakest Flanker variant in AC7. So through modding magic, we created a plane that is genuinely overpowered, while still feeling grounded in a familiar, realistic 4.5 generation design. That's how the Su-33UBM was born.

Codenamed Flanker-X3, it is a Shenyang J-15D-inspired multirole fighter jet jointly designed and produced by Yuktobania and Estovakia, with the help of tactical data acquired by Strigon Squadron during the Emmeria-Estovakia War. At least, that's the blurb for the backstory we conceived for it. In practical terms, this is a two-seat, carrier-capable, air-refuelable Flanker jet equipped with very overpowered weapons. It offers the following for Strangereal pilots:

- An advanced performance profile similar to the Su-57.
- Very powerful weapons:
  • 8QLAAM (still referred in-game as QAAM): advanced missiles that combine the long range of the LAAM, the accuracy and maneuverability of the QAAM, and the eight-shot, multilock capability of the 8AAM. Designed to completely, positively, destroy all enemy fighters in front of you.
  • 6LASM (still referred in-game as LASM): advanced missiles that combine the long range and heavy-hitting power of the LASM and the six-shot, multilock capability of the 6AAM. Designed to sink all those enemy ships in Mission 11 without breaking a sweat.
  • TLS: this TLS was enhanced with Belkan witchcraft in order to bring it back to the devilishly high power the TLS featured in Ace Combat 5 and Ace Combat Zero. In other words, it can destroy anything with just a single touch. Because THIS is the way it was always supposed to be! It should be obvious by now, but by using this marvel of Belkan technology, you also agree NOT to use this plane in Multiplayer. You have been warned!
- Integrated IEWS from the Sorbitsiya ECM pods which can be activated by holding down the weapon change button.
- Unique skins (and there's plenty of them!):
  • Skins 1, 4, 5 and 6 represent Osea and Trigger, inspired by old Jolly Rogers F-14A paint schemes.
  • Skin 2 is based on the new Ethiopian Air Force 2024 Su-30K paint job.
  • Skin 3 is a semi-original skin based on United States Navy VFC-12 aggressor paint job for the F/A-18F, imitating the Su-34 Fullback.
  • Skin 7 is essentially the same skin as above, however, it features the correct Su-34 colors as well as both Russian and low-visibility USN markings.
  • Skin 8 is an aggressor skin inspired by the Belarusian Air Force Su-30SM, with both Belarusian and low-visibility USN markings. Many thanks to Kalgin for allowing me to use his color shades for this skin!
  • Skin 9 is an aggressor skin based on United States Navy VFC-12 paint job for the F/A-18E, inspired by the Korean People's Army Air Force MiG-29, with both North Korean and low-visibility USN markings.
  • Skin 10 represents the Yuktobanian Navy, and it's based on Russian Navy's 279th Regiment Su-27UB, used for training.
  • Skin 11 is based on Ethiopian Air Force 2022 Su-27UBK paint job.
  • Skin 12 is based on Eritrean Air Force 2003 Su-27.
  • Skin 13 is based on the 1997 paint job for the prototype Su-30MKI.
  • Skin 14 is essentially the same paint job as the one above but with more lively colors, based on the 1998 paint job for the prototype Su-30MKI. Perfect if you want to role-play as the Sapin Air Force's Suerte Squadron from Ace Combat Zero!
  • Skin 15 is based on the Belarusian Air Force Yak-130 training aircraft.
  • Skin 16 is the official demonstrator paint job for the Su-33UBM, inspired by the Gromov Flight Research Institute's Su-30KN. Featuring Flaksmi-chan, the official mascot waifu for the Su-33UBM project!
  • Skin 17 is inspired on the ENAER Pillán II trainer aircraft.
  • Skin 18 is inspired by the Global Defense Initiative (GDI) Firehawk fighter jets from Command & Conquer 3: Tiberium Wars.

To install, unzip the .7z file and manually insert the .pak files into the game's directory. Vortex users are also covered, and the only thing you need to do is to download directly to Vortex or drag the .7z into the mod manager. To use with other addons, wait for Sincerity to update his Compatibility Between Addons mod, after which you'll ONLY need the "Base" file.

Note that the localizations for some of the more exotic languages were created with the assistance of AI. Flaksmi-chan, the mascot waifu for the project, was also created with the assistance of AI.

I hope you enjoy the mod as much as my modding partners and I enjoyed creating it!
