About this mod

UPDATE 3.0:

Now compatible with Aetherpoint and Volitio's amazing AV Item Shipment Framework mod.

The Surface Changer Gear container will spawn in the Item Shipment Framework Mailbox found inside the camp chest.

If you don't use or can't use Script Extender, the container will still spawn in the tutorial chest.

Mod has been renamed from Potion of the Surface Changer to Surface Changer Gear and has been assigned a new UUID.

The potion variant of this mod is no longer supported. The manual installation info for it and its stock file will remain available below.

Mod has been reverted back to gear and has been expanded to every armor and jewelry slot.

Since Version 3.0 has a different UUID from Version 2.X, anyone looking to update from 2.X to 3.0 can have both mods installed. This means it should be safe to update this mod mid-playthrough. Just remember to load Version 3.0 below Version 2.X.

While you can do the same if you're updating from Version 1.X, it shouldn't be necessary since Version 3.0 was expanded from it and has all its data.

Having both Version 2.X and Version 3.0 also shouldn't be necessary since all the data of the potion variant and its stock file are also in Version 3.0.

When going from Version 2.X to Version 3.0, make sure to toggle off the passives from the potion before updating. Version 3.0 makes the Version 2.0's passives hidden and void, but I noticed a visual glitch with the border highlight persisting if the passives were left toggled on before updating.

The gear passives now have icons.

The gear passives have been more thematic names.

ABOUT THIS MOD:

A dedicated piece of gear that allows the user to ignite flammable surfaces, freeze water, or electrify water, and grants the Grease or Create or Destroy Water spells and two synergizing passives.

Two bonus pieces of gear that combine fire with ice effects and fire with lightning effects.

Gear can be mixed and matched.

Freezing takes priority over electrifying.

Available for every armor and jewelry slot.

Dyeable.

Works with Eralyne's Transmog Enhanced mod.

INSTALLATION:

I recommend installing this mod with LaughingLeader's Baldur's Gate 3 Mod Manager.

For manual installations, the .zip files contain the info.json. (Version 3.0+)
