About this mod

A couple of tweaks to the Dungeon Delver feat to get both features functioning.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
Overview:

This is an attempt to get the Dungeon Delver feat working as close to how (I believe) Larian intended. There are some limitations since there hasn't been a way found to only focus on traps and hidden objects when it comes to perception rolls. There also isn't a way to only grant advantage on trap saves nor resistance to trap damage.

As a compromise, this mod enables advantage on perception checks at all times, as well as advantage on dexterity saves and resistance to all damage outside of combat. You'll notice a status on your character "DungeonDelver_ResistTraps" indicating the advantage on dex saves and damage resistance. This isn't the most balanced approach, but I haven't found it to be game breaking or anything.

Installation/Compatibility:

Install using BG3 Mod Manager. Only compatibility issues would be with any mod that alters the Dungeon Delver feat.

Known issues:

The intention is for the ResistTraps status to be removed upon rolling initiative, but I haven't found a trigger that removes upon that condition. There is a trigger to add it back on at the end of combat, which is working as intended. To get it working as close as possible to how I intended, I added three removal events that only trigger during combat: when you are attacked, when you take damage, and at the start of your turn. You won't be impacted by this issue if you take your first turn before taking any damage, but in the case where you do take damage before your first turn, you'll have resistance to that damage. Again, I don't find this to be game breaking, but it makes the feat a little stronger than intended, especially for low initiative characters.

You may see a second instance of the DungeonDelver_ResistTraps status condition appear on your character after levelling. It doesn't actually cause any bugs as far I could tell from testing. Any instances of the status are removed from the same triggers above and only one gets added back on after combat.
