Overview

- a set of 10 dyes inspired by origin characters, NPCs, and general Faerûnian environs.
- some dyes are tailored for a specific equipment and may not look good on some items. likewise, some dyes work better on armours/leathers/fabrics.
- all dyes are priced 1GP, infinite-use, and have 'very rare' label (pink frames).
- you can find the dyes in the tutorial chest and on vendors across all three acts. you can get Tutorial Chest Summoning for easier access.

Dye List
dyes marked with <WIP> are still under progress. technically, they work in the game, but I'm not satisfied with their palette and may change entirely under the same name. other dyes may be only slightly tweaked but won't greatly change. if you like a certain WIP dye's current palette drop a comment and I'll make it into a separate dye.

  • Vampyr Dusk: An Astarion-inspired dye with dusk purple and dark bluish hues.
  • Winter Gale: A dye inspired by Gale's starter robe in purple, blue, and pink shades. It's best suited to robes and fabrics, but works well on metal and other equipment.
  • Neverwinter Bloom: An offshoot of Winter Gale, with more flowery and pastel tones. As well as robes and fabrics, it works well with some armours.
  • Heart of Darkness: Inspired by Shar and her statues, especially in Shar's Gauntlet. It's still in development and looks very good on some equipment like the padded armour and Dark Justiciar mail, and not as well on others (I'm working on Shadowheart's starting armour specifically).
  • Old Mage Weave: Inspired by Elminster's robes, this versatile dye works well on almost anything to makeit look old and worn. Make Gale into the Elminster fanboy he is.
  • Eclipse: Another multi-purpose dye with muted yellow, orange, and blue-grey colours. It is especially good for metal armour. Perfect for Shar and Selûne worshippers' crises of faith.
  • Engines of Avernus: A Karlach-inspired dye with flaming red hues and red-tinged metal.
  • Eldritch Blast: A dye inspired by Wyll's starting equipment with dark red and brown hues, good for fabric and leather. <WIP>
  • Enclave Emeralds: A druid-inspired dye useful for fabric or leather armour with lots of bright leafy green and earthy browns.
  • Melinoë's Dream: A purplish dye with some light accents inspired by my first ever D&D character, Melinoë the Drow ranger. <WIP>

- tip for fellow modders and dye-makers: if you're on windows, you can use the PowerToys colour picker tool and define the 0-1 range sRGB as a new format to quickly pick colours and copy colours.
