This unique gear set, designed specifically for the Paladin-Warlock, bestows immense power and equipment in exchange for a formidable commitment: to fight valiantly on the front lines of the eternal Blood War against the demons. At the core of this set lies a dynamic mechanic that offers limited spell slots, which are replenished once per turn with each critical hit delivered by your maul.
Master the art of critical strikes through two key strategies:
Concentrate on spellcasting while targeting burning foes to significantly increase your chance of landing a critical hit. The gear is tailored to aid in maintaining concentration and inflicting burns on your enemies, turning the tide of battle in your favor.
Utilize your warlock spell slots for devastating smites that grow in power as you level up. Each smite offers the potential to paralyze your enemies, granting opportunities for additional critical hits with extra attacks or bonus action attacks (e.g., Great Weapon Master).
Beneath the iron gates of Dis, where shadows dance and fires kiss, Dispater's whisper winds its way, promising power's dark abyss. Forge with blood, the pact is made, in smoldering depths of fearsome blade, Bound to war, in realms afar, by the Iron Duke's eternal trade.
