About this mod

This uses TumblingLemmings Better Dual Wielding mod and replaces the damage modifications for an accuracy based balance system.
While dual wielding, attacks made with Light Weapons have a - 2 to hit, and non-light weapons have a -3 to hit.

This mod uses the same off-hand attack system as Better Dual Wielding, but instead of nerfing damage or buffing it or it being linked to two-weapon fighting or dual wielding, this mod implements the dual wielding system through Norbyte's Script Extender.

*Ignore This if you are familiar with Better Dual Wielding*
- Main Changes (Core Better Dual Wielding Mechanics by TumblingLemmings) -
When you attack, you instantly make an additional attack against that enemy while dual wielding.

If you have used your bonus action before attacking, your off-hand attacks will be made separately using the off-hand attack action.

Off-hand attacks will queue up to 3 attacks (2 Extra Attacks),
so be careful when using your bonus action first, you action surge builds :-^)

Only 1 file can be loaded at a time, and are meant to be used in place of the main file.


Furthermore, while enemies received the extra off-hand attacks they were not effected by nerfs or buffs unless they had either
Two-Weapon Fighting or Dual Wielding. This mod changes that.

Using Script-Extender, enemies receive these changes the moment combat starts, so this truly does change the rules for ALL characters.

Optional File
Only Load One Optional File
-1 to Off-Hand attacks.
-1 to the vanilla Bonus Action Off-Hand attack.

These minuses are in addition to the main mod, meaning they add an additional -1.

Why?
Mainly because of a suggestion and because this mod allows you to spend your bonus action for one extra Off-Hand.

Why do an accuracy change?

Running the numbers, due to D&D's core system, which BG3 is based on, decreasing hit chance balances the average damage you are going to be doing, preventing it from becoming TOO powerful.

Compatibility
This mod does not change Two-Weapon Fighting or Dual Wielding, thus mods changing them are completely compatible, increasing compatibility from the original mod. Rather than that, this mod should have the same compatibility as the original.
