About this mod
Makes the bug/fish books toggled instead of requiring you to hold them. When toggled open, you can switch to other tools and keep your open world "tooltips".

This mod makes it so that you can toggle the bug/fish books on by opening them and then switch to other tools while still seeing the world tooltips. The tooltips can be turned off by opening the book again.
Note that you need to hold the activation on the book until it fully opens for the toggle to take effect.
This is similar to the Always Active Books mod, and if you're happy using that there's definitely no reason to switch. I made this variant because I wanted opening the book to be the trigger that turns the tooltips on rather than needing to bind a custom hotkey (mostly for controller support).
