SE VERSION

*The description contains some spoilers for the quests that take place in Starcity.*

This location was available in "The Shards of Order" and was accessible via console. Unlike the other "cut content" I've released, this required more work because it's "Worldspace", which has some complications. Basically, it's just an (almost) empty location of an abandoned city, I didn't add enemies, because that's how I see it. Because, well, when the security system of the city has been activated, you can't get into this location anyway.

The entrance to the location is provided by a "teleport", which I placed in Old Lyguria (well, that ruins the idea of flying to Starcity, but what else to do?). Also, you can enter the city through that very locked door on the landing site (finally!! ...although it's pretty weird, considering the storyline). But I still wouldn't recommend going there while doing quests in Starcity, in case it breaks something... If you want, make a save before that. And also vice versa: entering the city through the "teleport", you can go to the landing site at any time, but I don't know if this could cause quest problems, so be careful.

Installation: put the .esp in the Data folder or install with a mod manager.

More about the location and what has been changed:
  • I tried to "optimize" this location by removing some vegetation and objects that are not visible to the player. I don't know how much it helped, but I hope it did...
  • New weather has been made for this worldspace (sometimes you have to wait for it to appear). Also, this region can now have rain and fog.
  • Added Starling Bird. It just flies and won't attack the player unless you attack it yourself (which was quite difficult in my tests, I couldn't hit it with magic or arrows, it was only possible with cheats). Anyway, there's no point in fighting it, it's level 100 and you can't get loot from it.
  • Added two weapons: "Starling Bow" (originally, apparently, it can't be found and can only be crafted) and two-handed sword "Oath of the Petrified" (originally unavailable in the game).
  • Added music and various sounds.
  • Doors that lead nowhere are inactive.
  • Various minor changes/improvements.

Known issues:
  • There might be low fps here, so keep it in mind, especially if you have a potato PC. The location is quite "dense" and trying to solve this problem leads to the fact that it will have to "cut" a lot, and I don't want to do that. But since this location doesn't contain any enemies and you don't have to fight, it's still not such a big problem.
  • LODs (level of detail of objects in the distance). I couldn't generate them in any way, so the objects in the distance will appear when you get closer, and disappear when you get farther away.
  • There is no local map here. Well, technically there is, but it just doesn't show this location, it's just something unknown. I don't know why it happens.
