About this mod

Adds 1000 customizable companions and settlers in a simplified manner using hotkeys.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
READ THIS DESCRIPTION:
This adds 1000 (500 female + 500 male) unique and customizable NPCs that can be turned into companions and settlers. Spawn and customize them without hassle and the need for additional companion mods.

Most of the mod configuration is made through hotkeys which in turn are defined through the MCM.

Also, after installing this you will receive a holotape named "NPC Control Holotape". You can use this in a terminal to see a list of active NPCs and issue commands to them.

Here's a video showcasing the mod (i'm sorry for the quality):

Why i made this:
1. to replace wintermute and generic companions mods that i was using
2. to replace mods like ada2human, Mechanist companion and Fahrenheit companion
3. most companion mods like wintermute have too few companions, are using outdated holotape method of customization or don't allow the player to customize them (e.g. Workshop Synth Production)

Comparison with other NPC mods:
Standalone generic companion mods
-takes .esp space
-No MCM
-No changing appearance/name with hotkey

Wintermute
+NPC list holotape
-only 10 female + 10 male unique NPCs
-No MCM
-No changing apperance/name with hotkey
-Can only change names once per NPC, also names are presets and player can't change them in game

Workshop Synth Production
+Immersive way of creating NPCs
-only 8 female + 8 male templates
-changing their appearance doesn't work
-No MCM
-No changing apperance/name with hotkey
-No NPC list holotape

Custom Companions and Settlers
+500 female + 500 male unique NPCs
+MCM
+changing apperance/name/data with hotkey
+Can change NPC names anytime, to anything and as much as you want by hotkey
+NPC list holotape
+Can turn Ada into Human after a quest
+Can recruit Isabel and Fahrenheit after their quests
-No immersive way of creating NPCs

Max Active Companions: 30 (if settler count is below 970, otherwise = 1000 - settler count)
Max Active Settlers: 1000 (minus Companion Count)
Max Active NPCs: 1000
Max Female: 500
Max Male: 500

This replaces the following mods:
Rusty Face Fix Redux (refresh NPC and player face)
Wintermute
Ada2Human
Fahrenheit Companion
The Mechanist Companion

Partial replacement
Rename anything enhanced (rename any NPC by hotkey, no auto rename NPCs)
Get Out Of My Face (Push Away Companions and NPCs) (hotkey to push NPCs away, although is not immersive at all)

Compatibility
It will work with any mods, except the ones that modify Ada, Isabel and Fahrenheit. If you use any of these this mod must be loaded after them. If you don't it will generate problems if you want to recruit those NPCs (e.g. when you turn Ada into human she's becomes a male with no head).

Know issues
Companion Status HUD
If you took a look at the screenshots, you will see that Companion Status HUD displays the NPC names as NPC 00X. This is a issue on their end. They're probably using the GetName function which returns the name of the base actor and not the F4SE GetDisplayName function which returns the name of the actor. Nothing i can do about it.

Requirements
F4SE(hard requirement)
MCM(hard requirement)
Unofficial fallout 4 patch (hard requirement)
AAF (hard requirement)
Extended Dialogue Interface       (hard requirement)
Rename Everything (without it rename feature will not work)
Text input menu (without it rename and set scale features will not work)

Useful mods

Looksmenu (Pretty much mandatory mod in every modlist)
Looksmenu Player Rotation (Very useful when editing NPC appearance)
Unlimited Companion Framework (if you want multiple vanilla companions at once)

FAQ:
Q: You said this mod added 1000 customizable NPCs but when i went in game the men and women all look the same and are all bald!
A: Well, this really adds 1000 customizable NPCs but doesn't add them with unique appearances on the go. You have to give them names and use the looksmenu to alter their appearance.

Q: When i disable NPCs does they disappear from the game?
A: No. You can re-enable them through the holotape in a terminal. Deleting a NPC on the other hand will erase that particular NPC from the game.

Q: Why does the NPCs have a robotic voice?
A: You can change their voice through the hotkeys in the MCM.

Q: If i don't use AFT or Unlimited Companion Framework will i be able to use multiple companions?
A: This mod uses it own companion system that will work independently.

Q: Does this use the custom bodies I have installed? (e.g. CBBE)?
A: Yes of course!

Q: Do i need the original mods that you said this mod replaces (e.g. Mechanist Companion)?
A: No this mod is standalone and unless a mod is in the requirement list it is not needed.

Q: That grass looks terrible!
A: Yes i know. I forgot to enable some texture mods and i'm too lazy to take more screenshots so...
