About this mod

Custom sidequest of hidden tape recorders with new lore and mysterious elements.

Mod Description:
Unleash your inner adventurer with our new mod!
Search for hidden tape recorders scattered throughout the game's world to uncover a mysterious secret.
Each recorder you find will reveal additional pieces of lore and hints towards the next recorder.

Mission starts at the front of the house, where you will find the first recorder laying on the bench.


  Installation:   
- Method 1 - using UnrealModLoader
  • Download RecorderMission and extract it(the pak file) into "...\HighOnLife\Oregon\Content\Paks\LogicMods\".  (create the folder LogicMods)
  • Download the latest UnrealModLoader: UnrealModLoader_V2.2.1a.zip (Github repo: UnrealModLoader)
  • Inside the modloader folder, open the file "ModLoaderInfo.ini" and set "DX12=1", save it and exit.
  • Launch the modloader. (UnrealEngineModLauncher.exe)
  • Launch the game.

Note: Alternatively to DX12=1, you can set "-dx11" in the launch parameters of the game.


- Method 2 - using OregonModLoader
  • Download and install OregonModLoader.
  • Download RecorderMission mod and extract it(the pak file) into "..\HighOnLife\Oregon\Content\Paks\".
  • Rename the mod pak file from "RecorderMission.pak" to "RecorderMission_P.pak"
  • Launch the game.
  • Once in-game, press F1 to open the mod loader menu, type in `RecorderMission` and press enter to confirm.
