About this mod

Reduces XP awarded to players for picked-up medi-gel that excess their maximum capacity.

Don't know about you, but when playing on Insanity (only way to play, IMO) I acquire TONS of XP for picking up all that medi-gel laying around everywhere - given that I rarely even use medi-gel, amounts of XP gained are huge. And every playthrough I hate it more and more. "Don't pick up every damn medi-gel then and stop whining" - well, that could be a solution, but I like whin... I mean I think it'd be better just to lower amount of XP awarded for medi-gel, so here comes this mod.

Vanilla XP for excess medi-gel is as follows:
    - Narrative - 25
    - Casual - 25
    - Normal - 50
    - Hardcore - 100
    - Insanity - 150
Every med-kit has two "doses" of medi-gel inside, wall dispenser three (AFAIK), so some quick math is enough to imagine those piles of XP just laying around and waiting to be picked-up. My mod gives you 5 options, all of them lower XP awarded for ALL difficulty levels:
    - C-Sec Officer - lowers XP by 20% (20 / 20 / 40 / 80 / 120)
    - Alliance Marine - lowers XP by 40% (15 / 15 / 30 / 60 / 90)
    - STG Operative - lowers XP by 60% (10 / 10 / 20 / 40 / 60)
    - Asari Commando - lowers XP by 80% (5 / 5 / 10 / 20 / 30)
    - Commander Shepard - no XP awarded

WARNING(S)

I must warn you I don't know if it's possible to reach level 60 while playing with my mod - with enough research I could calculate it, but I'm too much of a lazy bum to do it. So you're kinda risking it by installing the mod - the lower XP awarded, the higher the risk. But you should be fine... Or so I think.

There's one more thing - as enemies scale with Shepard's level (or at least I think they do), slower leveling means the enemies will also grow stronger at slower pace. Don't know how it will play along with weapons obtained, their mods and so on - it may turn into utterly unbalanced pile of crap. You've been warned.

INSTALLATION

- Make sure your game isn't texture-modded yet (don't install any DLC mods after installing texture mods).
- Import downloaded LE3_Medigel_XP.zip file into ME3Tweaks Mod Manager and hit "Apply" button.
- Choose an option you prefer (but there's only one worthy of Commander Shepard, if you ask me...)
- Hit "Install" button and voila!

(IN)COMPATIBILITY

Because to achieve this mod's goal it's necessary to relpace the whole string in Coalesced.bin (precisely it's BioDifficulty.xml part) for every difficulty level, and those strings contain multiple values, mods changing any of the following will collide with my mod: MedigelHealAmount, XPForExcessMedigel, Cerberus_Pylon_ShieldStrength, Cerberus_Pylon_RegenStrength, Cerberus_Pylon_PlaceableRegenStrength, Cerberus_KineticBarrier_Health, Cerberus_Generator_BlastDamage, Reaper_RachniiEgg_RottenBlastDamage, Reaper_IndoctrinationDevice_ShieldStrength, Reaper_IndoctrinationDevice_BeamCooldown, Reaper_GethTripMine_ZapDamage

SPECIAL THANKS

I'd like to thank:
