About this mod

Provide FlyCam to (almost) every situation and easy game start/stop toggle, show/hide HUD and various levels of slow motion for all three Legendary titles.

Changelogs
To make filming the Mass Effect Trilogy easier, I created a bunch of coalesced edits a long time ago for the original series. Later, I ported those edits to the Legendary edition.

Applying them was always a real pain; It meant decompiling the current coalesced files after re-modding each title, editing the files to modify them, and recompiling the coalesced files.

Luckily, the ME3Tweaks ModManager can do this for us now. Therefore I converted my edits into coalesced mergers and combined those into this mod.

This is a coalesced diff mod only, so it should be totally safe to de-/re-/install and to de-/activate no matter which other mods, even texture mods, are there. This mod does not touch any resource files.

Configrable parts:
  • Delay Conversation Answers
This option delays the display of the conversation wheel and the last line spoken subtitle to 1 second after the spoken text ends. (Default: 5 seconds before it ends.)
  • Optimze for 144Hz Free-/G-Sync displays
Enables smooth frames for 61 to 145 FPS and disables vertical sync.
I have added this option, because I am using a 144Hz G-Sync display. If you need other frequencies, I might add those in later versions. Just drop me a line.
  • The next three High-Speed options are mutually exclusive, you have to pick none or exactyl one:
    * Hi-Speed on + => Enter 10x speed on numpad +, go back to normal on numpad -.
    * Hi-Speed on * => Enter 10x speed on numpad *, go back to normal on numpad /.
    * Hi-Speed on mouse wheel => Enter 10x speed on mouse wheel up, go back to normal on mouse wheel down.
  • Allow large textures
Allows 4k textures, enlarges the texture pool and tries to speed up texture streaming. You need at least 4GiB VRam when this is enabled!
  • Omni Camera Tools
Add various options to the numpad to help with filming game content. For documentation, see below.
  • Raise the details level
Raise the detail level, allow more antialiasing and try to enforce more details on particles and skeletal meshes.

Omni Camera Tools:
As I am not using any of the numpad keys for anything else, the Camera Tools are commanded by the numpad.
NumPad 0 : Halt the game
NumPad 1 : Toggle HUD on/off (*)
NumPad 2 : Toggle HUD on/off (*) alternate method
NumPad 3 : Toggle FlyCam on/off (**)
NumPad 4 : Set game to normal speed (1.0)
NumPad 5 : Set game to half speed (0.5)
NumPad 6 : Set game to quarter speed (0.25)
NumPad 7 : Set game to eighth speed (0.125)
NumPad 8 : Set game to sixteenth speed (0.0625) (***)
NumPad 9 : Set game to thirty-seconds speed (0.03125) (***)

(*) Be absolutely sure that the HUD is turned ON before you go into any menu, by pressing esc for example, or you will be stuck in an empty menu screen. If you land there, your only chance is to Alt-Tab out of the game and to kill it. I am very sorry, but I have not yet found a way to circumvent this.

(**) While in Fly-Cam mode, the camera is steered with your mouse and default WASD configuration.
The cursor keys are set to move the camera with a tenth of the normal speed, so you can position the camera more precise.
However, the slow camera movement does not work in LE1; Here, the cursor keys cause the normal movement speed.

(***) These are more for completeness sake, as the engine does not allow a slower mode then one eighth (factor 0.125) of the normal speed.
So whether you press 7, 8 or 9 does not matter, they all will give you the same speed.
If you have an idea what to do with the keys 8 and 9, some really helpful trigger/toggle I haven't thought of so far, I am all ears. :-)
