Nitroid once pointed out that bluepoint's version of Pliksin's face texture looked quite cartoonish and wasn't matching Solid Snake's texture in game as opposed to the original MGS2: https://x.com/Nitroid/status/1628153900552314880

So I took it upon myself to correct this error.

UPDATE 2.0:
There are two versions. One only replaces the face textures listes below. The other includes a bandana legacy retexture as well as an optional alternative. Pliksin improvements:

• better face and beard textures
• includes new pale face Pliskin after the first Vamp cutscene due to the blood loss
• removed line on the forehead just below the hair line

draw distance improvements:
at a certain distance from the in game camera, the player model switches to a low poly face model. Playing MGS2 via MC with higher resolutions makes this more noticable since the low poly faces just don't look good. Never noticed that before? Well now you will and it will bug the hell out of you as well. Sadly we can't mod any models yet so I edited the low poly face textures to match the high poly versions as close as possible for both Snake and Pliskin (Raiden not included). Check the images for further clarification.

A higher detail shaved face texture for Solid Snake:
the shaved texture was of a lower resolution so I matched it with the standard stubble beard and added some details. Note:  Solid only appears shaved near the end of the game only if Raiden gave him the shaver when they first meet.
