While working on Atom a while back, I was poking around the meshes folder
when I found the starlet dress asset used in Dead Money. I love its design and
immediately started running with the concept of a femme fatale character.
This soon evolved into more of a punk influence with a hard edge from the wasteland.
The end result? Someone who's come crashing into the Mojave with a vengeance.
Rosa is a former member of the Fiends, borderline psycho and running
on chems and anger since she emerged from the Baja in the south.
She's Hispanic, mainly speaking English but mixing in Spanish
phrases as well. To the surprise of nobody, it's mostly cursing.
To find her, head to the wreck at Ivanpah Dry Lake.
This has been a huge undertaking as I've gone all out in bringing
Rosa to life. Hopefully you enjoy having her along too.
Features
DIALOGUE GALORE
900 lines of fully-voiced, high quality dialogue. Full reactivity to your travels and
commentary that spans all factions, side quests, locations and much more.
CUSTOM ASSETS
Rosa comes with her own custom perk, outfit, melee and ranged weapon to make
sure her reputation proceeds her. Assuming anyone survives.
MULTIPLE QUESTS
An introduction and personal quest that seamlessly integrates with the rest of
New Vegas and ties into factions, along with the world at large. Includes
branching quest design that organically accounts for player choice.
COMPANION BANTER
Rosa interacts with all vanilla followers as a true party member.
Achieved by repurposing vanilla lines, no AI required.
COMING SOON: DLC SUPPORT
The game won't let you take her? Too bad! My intention is to make Rosa into
a character that feels like she was always part of the game and more
than just another faceless gun-for-hire.
Installation
Pick what you need from the FOMOD or install with a mod manager as usual.
She doesn't count towards the vanilla follower limit.
Her gear uses vanilla textures so any replacers will also carry across.
