About this mod
This is a simple mod that takes the default textures from GOTY, upscales and removes artifacts in the original textures to give the game a sharper look in the modern day.

This mod specifically re-uses all original PopCap textures and cleans them up to look cleaner, especially compared to the originals with lots of compression artifacts. This has been done by extracting the original textures from the game, using an AI Upscaler and cleaning up stray pixels with GIMP. The game still has the same endearing cartoonish appearance as it originally did, just looks much cleaner.
This mod is easily installed as well, you just have to extract the MAIN.PAK file using either the Main.PAK patcherer, or PopStudio, whichever you're more comfortable using, and simply merging the files in the zip archive with the game directory! Make sure you allow all file overrides and when you launch the game, it will load up with new textures and a cleaner appearance.
This has only been tested with the English GOTY edition from Steam, specifically version 1.20.1096. If you have any issues with this mod or if it is incompatible with a specific version, please let me know so I can address this and make it more accessible to everyone!
