About this mod

Allows you to rebind your keys freely, not just with a keyboard layout.

Requirements
Permissions and credits
This mod is dedicated to the several Negative Reviews on Steam due to the lack of accessibility options.

Right now, all it allows is to rebind any key in your keyboard to another, allowing you, for instance, switch the activate key from Space to F. In order to do that, just write, in the ConfigSpace = F Where space can be any key from the game you want to change, and F is the destination key on your keyboard. Its "In game, space is the Keyboard F key".

Because it alters directly the Keyboard config methods of the game itself, changing the keys also changes the key icon, telling you where to click to use it.

The default config is just a dummy (swaps E for E), so you need to use the names of the keys as in Unity Keycode class, and add as many keys as you like.

Limitations
  • This mod cannot change other mod's keybinds, only the game's;
  • This mod cannot swap a key for a combination. the engine they made will not allow it out-of--the-box. If it's really a lot requested, I can try to figure it out.
  • This mod replaces ALL keyboards with the "Custom" keyboard, and as such, install it only if you need to rebind, otherwise, this mod defaults to QWERTY layout. Keys for replacement come from that layout too (which is the game's default)

This is a BepinEx mod, and as such, you need to install BepinEx in order to run it. After that, install this mod by unzipping it and placing it in the Plugin Folder.
Then, run the game once to generate the config, close it, and then add any keys you want to rebind.

Unfortunately, I do not know every key the game uses, just the ones you learn by playing the game. So "E" opens many menus such as the radial menus, talk menus, eat and drop menus, etc. Space interacts with the object/NPC in front of you, and uses the item if it has any uses.  J opens the journal, M the map, Ctrl opens certain side-features. Q and E are used in the menus to cycle through stuff, and Z and C to cycle in the radial menus.

These are the ones that come off the top of my head., and are probably the most important. So, for others' try them out once and change them later.
