This mod does a lot of localized changes to allow you to customize your farming experience to your liking. Want to grow all crops at all time? Turn it on in the configs, and you can even grow wheat all year round! Want to buy seeds before the season changes, or even at all times? There's a config for that too. In total, this mod currently allows you to change:

Nursery

  • Your grandpa sells you either all in-game seeds or only known ones.
  • Your grandpa can sell you seeds from the next season on the 28th of the current one.
  • Your grandpa can sell you all known seeds during the entire year!
  • You can multiply (or divide) the amount of seeds sold per knowledge tier, up to 128 at no tier and 1024 at knowledge 5 (16x)
  • NOTE: The Birch tree and Beech (hardwood) trees have a sapling in-code, but it is impossible to obtain through normal methods. Adding that to the tree shop is one future objective of this mod, but so far it could not be done. Ignore that setting.
Tree Changes
  • Trees can grow and give fruit in all seasons, including winter.
  • Trees can drop saplings when your knowledge of them is greater than 0, at 20% chance per level (up to 100% at lv 5)
  • Trees can drop more than one fruit when you have planted them (always thought it was a bit silly that a olive tree gave a single olive when harvested)
  • You can increase the amount of wood a tree drops when you cut it, including a knowledge level boost to wood for pine trees and other homegrown trees.
  • The distance between planted trees is customizable. The mod defaults to no spacing needed, so you can place trees as close as you like. 2 is vanilla settings.
Plant changes
  • Crops can either grow all year round or just during their assigned seasons. This setting is for all crops, and turning it on will have the side-effect that all wild plants for all seasons also show up in the world.
  • You can have the crops drop seeds at a small chance that increases with knowledge. Not enough that you can avoid grampa's Shop, but enough to remove a dent from your contribution wallet. This feature requires you to harvest with a Scythe
  • Crops will drop multiple of the same harverst when harvested with the Scythe, and a certain knowledge level was reached, increasing in chances with that level.
  • Dead plants of any kind will drop a customizable amount of plant fiber. Because, let's face it, wheat produces a lot of straw.

Animal Changes
  • Animals Have been overhaul'd! They can now produce a lot of new stuff, such as allowing bisons to produce milk, fur and horns! You can change what they drop and when they drop it, what you can milk/shear and when to milk/shear it in the configs. Defaults are kinda balanced to what vanilla game had, some dates were pushed back because the new fucntionality uses whole days instead of a progress day system like the vanilla game

UI/UX Changes
  • You can now set the max stack of items and seeds at your will! Do note that the game was not ready for that and, as such, the number display may not handle numbers bigger than 999 well. However, the max allowed is 9999, just like seeds, so you can push it further.
  • Auto-select tool feature: on by default, the auto-select tool allows you to switch to the appropriate tool when you are near a certain area. Harvestable crops select the sickle, just like plant litter. Animals select the tool suited for the job, be it shears or milker. Axes for trees, hammers for rocks, Harpoon or Handaxe when in a fishing spot.
  • All of these select the Handaxe by default if you don't have the tool required.
  • Because it's in no way a perfect system, you can disable/enable it at any time by pressing the configured keybinding (default CTRL-T)
  • Select tools by keys instead of the radial button! You can configure a multitude of keys to select automatically your tools by pressing Shift+T (configurable) followed by the tool's buttons (Shift + something by default)
  • Lastly, a button config to replace your radial menu seeds with the ones that are in season was added. This feature sorts the seeds by Quantity, then by name. Just press (configurable) Shift+2 to use this feature. The previously selected seed stays there until you change it out, so you can finish planting with it before it disappears into your bag.


As the mod changes radically how the Producing system works for animals, all old providing is ignored, so after installing the mod, your ready-to-milk ibex may not have milk for the next three days. Unfortunately, this cannot be avoided, so I just warn you instead.
Installation
This mod can be installed by placing the contents of the zip folder in the BepinEx plugin folder, and opening the game once to generate the configs. Then, change what you want, and you're ready to go.
