Allows customization of the damage dealt/damage received multipliers on Hard difficulty

I love the combat in this game, but on hard mode enemies die a little too fast, even at the midgame with starting weapons equipped and no damage perks or plugins.

To fix that I made this very quick and dirty Cheat Engine script which allows you to modify the game's damage dealt/damage received multipliers, so you can make the game harder (or easier) than the vanilla difficulty settings allow.  The script only affects Hard difficulty.

By default, the script reduces damage dealt to 0.6x (from 0.8x in vanilla Hard) and increases damage taken to 1.35x (from 1.2x in vanilla Hard).  These numbers are not at all scientific and were only briefly tested during Yuito's midgame, so I encourage you to change them if you find they're too easy or too hard.


Usage instructions
This is a table for Cheat Engine, so you must have Cheat Engine installed to use it.
  • Download Cheat Engine via cheatengine.org and install it.  Make sure to decline the "sponsored offers" during installation.
  • Launch Cheat Engine, attach it to Scarlet Nexus, and load this cheat table.
    
  • Active the script and customize the values as desired.


Multipliers affect the player and party members (including combo visions).

NOTE: The game must be set to hard difficulty, otherwise the script will not do anything.


Support, troubleshooting, etc.
  • I don't really know what I'm doing, so it's possible that this could cause crashes in some circumstances.  However it shouldn't ever affect your saves, since the script just patches damage calculation and doesn't otherwise modify memory, character parameters, or save data.
  • The script applies the same multipliers to all enemies and bosses.  The game's damage calculation code seems to support the possibility for different multipliers for each enemy type, but all enemies I tested used the same values anyway.  It's possible that some bosses have different multipliers, which this script would override.
  • The script was tested on v1.02 of Scarlet Nexus.  It should continue to work with future versions as long as Bamco doesn't change the original difficulty multiplier code, but I make no guarantees.

Default difficulty multipliers
Easy: 1.5x damage dealt, 0.5x damage taken
Normal: 1x damage dealt, 1x damage taken
Hard: 0.8x damage dealt, 1.2x damage taken
This mod: 0.6x damage dealt, 1.35x damage taken

Difficulty might affect other things in the game, I'm not sure.
