Pura is a warrior from Winterhold that possesses affinity to magicka.
Living under the shadow of the College of Winterhold, Pura quickly learned that it was better to avoid using magic in public, knowing her neighbors' harsh judgement of the magic arts.
Nevertheless, during a violent stormy night she was forced to display her might: thanks to her skills in Frost magic she was able to repel the snowy waves of cold destruction that were threatening the lives of the unlucky Winterhold citizens.
The next morning, Jarl Korir acknowledged the valor of the warrior Pura and made her one of his Housecarls, but he also knew how she was able to "make the snow dance on her sword"... magic.
Korir never fully accepted her in his circle of warriors, often sending his new Housecarl in missions all over Skyrim and even in other parts of Tamriel, so she could stay away from his court as much as possible. Pura diligently obeyed all her commands, shielding herself with her cold and guarded attitude, as she was used to let the prejudices of others slide off her heart.
When she is about to return from a diplomatic mission in High Rock, a new Thane rises in the Jarl courtroom, so Korir takes the opportunity to send away the warrior he always looked down upon (alternatively, the newly appointed and grateful Jarl Kraldar want you to have a good Housecarl by your side).
Pura is a competent warrior, dependable and always composed, with strong Frost magic at her side and a talent for the sword. She will never ask you directly, she is used to keep her thoughts to herself, but she wouldn't mind obtaining a specific sword that greatly complements her warrior talents (there is a note in her inventory, if you like).

In the FOMOD you can choose an alternate Albino look for Pura, and optional patches for Guards Armor Replacer or Sons of Skyrim, to match her armor with the other Winterhold's soldiers.

Level: min.5 max.500, she levels at 1.1x ratio to the Player, +50 offset to Health, +100 offset to Magicka, +50 offset to Stamina
Perks: Light Armor, One Hand, Destruction(Frost), Light Foot
Equipment: Winterhold Armor, a Steel Sword
Location: Winterhold, Jarl's Longhouse
She is flagged [X] ESSENTIAL and [X] MARRIAGEABLE.
No bodies or skins included, for maximum compatibility.
- HOW YOU GET -
When you first enter Winterhold, the quest for Pura starts.
After you get thane'd' by the Jarl of Winterhold, you will see the new line "Is there anything else, my Jarl?". At the end of the dialogue, Pura will spawn inside the Jarl's Longhouse and she will forcegreet you like any other Housecarl.
This is why I think its best to talk to the Jarl when he is sitting his throne; you can speak to him in the inn, on the streets, but you will always have to go into the Longhouse to collect your Pura.
