About this mod

This mod simply edits some of the races height data to be more diverse. This is something you can very easily change yourself, but I could never find a mod that would make the changes appropriately myself so decided to upload the version I use.

This mod simply edits some of the character height race data.

IMPORTANT: No matter what race you pick, the camera height will appear the same if you're playing in first person.

I play as an Imperial Male, whose base height is 1, as a result of this all character heights are tailored to work best when playing as either an Imperial or Dunmer Male. This is because they are the only two race and gender combinations that have not been altered by this mod.

It's also quite easy to change the height data yourself using SSEEdit.

The mod will also work when installed mid playthrough, but if you notice that certain NPCs haven't changed height, you can use the console to disable/re-enable them which will force the height changes to show.

UPDATE: Inclusion of tables to show race heights so that everyone can see how I came to use these heights in-game.
These tables help to give an idea of in-game heights in my Skyrim, my mod and the values used in Oblivion & Morrowind. I've taken the base height value of 1.000 to be 1.7 metres as this seems to be the most reasonable based on the game's setting, in my opinion, and the opinion of many others after checking online. The tables below show the values in metres and also the values in feet and inches. If there are any heights that you wish to change, you can easily do so via SSEEdit. I've settled on these values based on my own views on the lore of The Elder Scrolls and real-world cases and tested in game many times. The values make for a much more diverse game-world. As you can see, the majority of Skyrim's races had the same height, and with the exception of the High Elves, it was hard to notice the differences with the other races. Values for inches have been rounded to the nearest inch.
