Character leveling in this game is Immersion Breaking! In a few weeks game time, you can become the best at everything! And how about those 1 second training sessions?

This mod disables training, and makes it so you can only level skills related to the Destiny you choose for Standing Stones (in a VERY Lore friendly way).

Tired of Immersion Breaking game concepts such as '1 second training sessions'? Or your character being a better smith than Eorlund, in spite of you only forging your first piece a couple of days ago?  IF so, then this mod is for you!

What does this mod do?

It makes Destiny Stones actually relevant to why your character can increase in power so quickly!  Without choosing a Destiny Stone, your skills now level at 1%!!!!  That would be pretty much in line with how fast an NPC would level up.

However, once you choose your Destiny (1 of 4 files), your character levels Class Skills at 600% (6x normal), and secondary skills at 50% (0.5x normal).  Skills outside of Class and Secondary still only level at 1%.

The idea here is that the Destiny Stone's blessing GREATLY enhances your ability to learn...but only within skills related to the Destiny Stone itself.

IMPORTANT = There are 4 Groups of Destiny Stones: 1) Warrior, 2) Thief, 3) Mage, and 4) Serpent.  Once you choose (and install) your Destiny Group, you can't use blessings from the other Destiny Stone Groups.

IMPORTANT #2 = This mod disables Training.  No more standing in front of someone for 1 second and paying them a ton of gold in order to level 10 times!

IMPORTANT #3 = This mod is based off my Standing Stone Overhaul mod = so the Standing Stone ability changes in that mod also apply to this mod.  Details of changes are listed Here!

Details:

Warrior Destiny:
-Includes the Warrior Stone, Lady Stone, Steed Stone and Lord Stone
-All Combat Skills level at 6x
-Secondary Skills (Speechcraft and Light Armor) level at 0.5x
-All other Skills level at 1%

Mage Destiny:
-Includes the Mage Stone, Apprentice Stone, Ritual Stone, and Atronach Stone
-All Magic Skills level at 6x
-Secondary Skills (Speechcraft and Alchemy) level at 0.5x
-All other Skills level at 1%

Thief Destiny:
-Includes the Thief Stone, Shadow Stone, Lover Stone and the Tower Stone
-All Thief Skills level at 6x (except for Lover Stone)
-All Secondary Skills (OneHanded and Marksman) level at 0.5x (except for Lover Stone)
-All other Skills level at 1%
*Lover Stone levels both Thief Skills AND Secondary Skills at 6.5x

Serpent Destiny:

-ALL skills level at 2x while under the influence of this Stone
*tying your Destiny to Lorkhan's wandering skin (the snake) means you level slower than the other Destinies....BUT your potential might is MUCH higher!


Installation:


Pick one of the 4 mod files, depending on whether you want your Destiny to be that of a Warrior, Thief, Mage or the Serpent.
*I've included 4 files instead of scripting it to do it all within 1 file....I never did figure out how Requiem did it.  IF someone has an idea on how to do this = I am all ears!
