This was my first project to teach myself how to create a patch and use the Creation Kit and SSEedit.

This patch adds compatibility to Predence00's Wind's Rest Estate (SE) mod with TMPhoenix's Hearthfire Multiple Adoptions.

The following guide was used, with some minor notes by myself.

I really like this player home and would like to thank Predence00 et al. (see Pred's page for further credits) for creating a great home.

In order for the blessing to work you need to do a minimum of the following:
  • Purchase the land
  • Build the main house
  • Build an upstairs bed (2 person noble of common)
  • Build a dining table (common or noble, I recommend noble since common didn't load for me)
  • Build  the basement expansion
  • Build the Children's beds
  • Build the practice dummies

I added this patch in mid-build, mid-game when I decided I wanted to use this as a family home and did not have any issues with it working. If you are mid-build and go to cast the blessing. I recommend letting the game load and then wait a bit, go inside/outside and into the basement. If at first it doesn't recognize the place as a suitable home. Go to the basement and cast it near the kids beds.

I did put the keywords and markers in to for all six of the children's beds that can be built. But since I was mid-playthrough I only had two kids and had no interest to adopt more so I haven't tested more (plus TMPhoenix recommends not trying to adopt more if you already have two mid-game). I have witnessed the spouse and the children doing chores, playing, moving around. You may see them teleport occasionally. Best I can determine is it has to do with some pathing/collision markers but that is in the base mod so I chose not to modify it.
