I have playtested this mod from beggining to end I have encountered 0 errors and bugs. If you encounter a bug, please always check for conflicts in xEdit! Recruit More Blades - Extra Blades is only a few entries, it shouldn't be too hard to do a quick scan in xEdit.

My dream is to have this mod make use of a global value that allows one to choose for themselves how many Blades should be recruited, but that is way above my paygrade. If anyone wants to take on this quest, that would be wonderful. 



About Extra Blades SSE
This mod lets you recruit up to ten (10) Blades. Extra Blades is only a gameplay/quest mod and won't mess up Skyhaven Temple (that’s Skyhaven Modified’s job). All ten Blades will receive their own schedules for guard duty and training.

Known quirks
- During the dragon hunting quests, only the first three Blades recruited will fight along with you. Other Blades can still be commanded to follow you.
- If you use mods that let you have more than one follower be sure to only bring one follower at-a-time to Delphine.
- I'm guessing Extra Blades doesn't play nicely with follower mods that make of use of their own follower framework, but I wouldn't know. I don't use them.
- Using this mod mid game is not recommended (where "not recommended" = it might not work at all).

Extra Blades is compatible with mods that let you choose to let Paarthurnax to live.



About Skyhaven Modified 
Skyhaven Modified is an optional file for those running Extra Blades mod (or not, since the Extra Blades mod is not necessary to run this mod). Skyhaven Modified adds several beds to Skyhaven Temple and some more clutter. As the Main Quest progresses more stuff is added, such as crafting stations (Alchemy, Enchanting, etc.). It also provides idle markers so that the Blades do stuff like lean against walls, warm their hands or sweep the floor.

Known quirks
- Most containers (sacks, barrels etc.) re-spawn and are not safe to use as permanent storage.
- The storage in the 'armory' (where you find Dragonbane and the skill book Mace Etiquette) does not re-spawn and should be safe.


Context
The mod Extra Blades SSE by Axhoff2007 is a mod with a long history. The fundament of Extra Blades SE was made many years ago. It was originally made in 2012 for oldrim in reaction to another similar mod that didn't function properly. Back in 2012, it was necessary for the mod Extra Blades to incorporate some fixes for vanilla Skyrim bugs. However, in the years the followed, USSEP fixed all of the bugs that Extra Blades also tried to fix, like Esbern's Potion Bug or Aerin's AI package set to always follow Mjoll, even if Mjoll was recruited into the Blades. These bugs were fixed by USSEP in a different way than Extra Blades did it, but the USSEP version of the fixes were never taken into account by Axhoff2007. This means that if you use both USSEP and Extra Blades in 2021, there are some major conflicts in the .esp. Of course I cannot say for sure all the bug reports mentioned in the comment thread of Extra Blades SSE are caused by the mod instead of user errors, but reading the comments makes clear that Extra Blades is not functioning as expect for a lot of people.

So what I did was manually clean the .esp of Extra Blades SSE. I deleted all irrelevant and wild edits (and unneeded fixes) and instead forwarded all fixes by USSEP properly. I also noticed that the main script of Extra Blades (freeformskyhaventempleascript) conflicted with USSEP, but didn't incorporate an important fix. I really hate scripting, but thankfully the wonderful AndrealphusVIII was willing to take a look and incorporated the USSEP script fix inside of freeformskyhaventempleascript.pex.      

The result is an updated, cleaned and fixed version of Extra Blades SSE that can (hopefully) be safely used in 2022, alongside the most recent version of USSEP (which is a requirement).

Extra Blades SSE was shipped together with an additional .esp called Skyhaven Modified that decorated Skyhaven with some more beds (for your extra Blades!), clutter, idle markers and workbenches. I also took the liberty to manually fix up this .esp, removing wild edits and keeping only what was necessary for the mod to function.
