Better Pips is a AHK(AutoHotKey) script designed to aid the standard systems power controls via that use of preconfigured profiles, dedicated buttons and even more automated functions.

Better Pips is a complete overhaul for the system pips. Gone are the days of managing pips one at a time and here are the days of predefined pip profiles and dedicated keys. Currently Better Pips allows you to change your entire power system with one click to one of up to 5 predefined profiles as well as it has expanded functions to map increase and decrease power to a specific system to a single key for people looking to map all/some of the functions onto a button box or streamdeck as well as the ability to make specific conditional changes depending on your current power distribution.
Better Pips comes with two AHK files though unless you were previously using the input based script and don't want to change anything you should probably use the console version as it requires less configuration and operates faster than the input version and no longer requires a calibration command.
To install/setup either launch the .ahk file for the version you want and click the readme button. If all you want is dedicated keys to increase or remove a pip from each system you only need to apply the ini changes to your starfieldconsole.ini running as the ahk script is now only necessary for profiles. If you don't want to to use the AHK file but want to use profiles you can configure your profile in the AHK script and click "save to ini" which will create starfieldconsole.ini compatible hotkeys for your currently selected profile which also activate much faster then the AHK version but cannot be as easily tweaked as you need to make the new hotkeys and update your ini file every time you change them.
Controls:
Profiles: Alt & 1 : Profile 1 Alt & 2 : Profile 2 Alt & 3 : Profile 3 Alt & 4 : Profile 4 Alt & 5 : Profile 5 Alt & 6: Supercruise Profile(if enabled) Dedicated Buttons: f1-f12: Increase or decrease each individual system by one
Better pips is not a mod! It is a AHK script and requires the program AutoHotKey 1.1 to be installed to function.
Currently better pips only supports mouse and keyboard controls.
