About this mod

Remove all random citizens from the game, leaving only the named npc's, companions, quest givers, enemies, targets, guards, and fauna

Requirements
Permissions and credits
2024 January 28 - I may still update occasionally, but have no further plans with any of my mods except Books Revamped, Better NPCs, Starlit - A Starfield Mod List, and a fourth unnamed project, so you have my explicit permission to do what you want with this one.

I was tired of running around with my scanner out, highlighting everyone to find those few people that aren't named 'Citizen', so I just got rid of them completely.
This mod only removes the random NPC 'Citizens' or 'Residents' or whatever other names they're given. No quest givers, named NPCs, security, etc... are removed, only the people that serve absolutely no purpose but to make the game look busy.

In honor of the first comment since early October, and because I honestly forgot this mod wasn't hidden, I've uploaded a new ESM version.

By now you know if you care about the crowds or not.

After 3 months, some of you might be at the point where removing the crowd completely is better than realizing they serve absolutely no purpose and just wander around 24 hours a day.

It's a normal ESM, but will only work on a new game.. Install with a mod manager if you can.
If you're manually installing mods, you should already know what to do.

If you're on an existing game, download Console Command Runner Updated and the CCR version. If you decide you want the crowds back, edit the toml, change all the 1's to 0's, and reload the game.

I don't think a mod exists that it wouldn't be compatible with.

It won't need updating with game updates or SFSE updates.

I respond much faster to questions, comments, concerns, and hate mail on Discord.
