This is for the hoarders, the greedy, or players who just don't want to face the repercussions of their actions (I'm all 3).
Any item placed in the game world (not in a container) will not be marked as stolen if its value is less than ninety nine million nine hundred and ninety nine thousand nine hundred and ninety nine credits.
Install with a mod manager or just extract stealanything.txt to your Starfield folder (next to Starfield.exe). If using the ESM, ensure your add *StealAnything.esm to your plugins.txt file.
To use the mod, copy and paste the following line into your console and hit enter: bat stealanything To revert the value to vanilla, use stealvanilla instead.
If you just want the command contained within the file, here it is in all its glory: setgs iCrimeStealDontCareValue 99999999 The vanilla value is 20
This mod does not use Console Command Runner. I don't use that mod, but if you want to make one that works with CCR, let me know and I'll link it here.
I'm not aware of any mod that changes the same setting or does the same thing as this one, but again let me know so I can make a list of alternatives.
ESM file made with an experimental version of xEdit (4.1.5b)
