Changelogs
Version 1.0
Works for now!
IT'S A LASER! IT SHOULD NOT DIE OFF AFTER 12 METERS!
I can understand a laser that maybe gets de-focused and does less damage the greater the range, but in Starfield the laser simply dies off after 12 meters.
WHICH IS STUPID!
This fixes that issue. Range is now 999.
Warning! Unlimited range on this thing might create an unbalanced game, even though IT'S STILL WITHIN THE LIMITS OF REAL LIFE LOGIC! SO use only at your own discretion.
I also added an OP version with increased damage and battery charge, just for the lols. (I mean, it's not like the basic laser wasn't already the most powerful weapon in the game already har har).
Installation:
This mod was made with xEdit and is (relatively) stable, as far as I can tell.
Install Plugins.txt enabler: https://www.nexusmods.com/starfield/mods/4157 and follow installation instructions there.
Ensure NoMaxRangeCutter.esm is in your Starfield /Data folder and enabled in your Mod Manager and also enabled inside your plugins.txt by having a * added before its name like this:
