There is a lot of room for improvement with the current ship builder menu, might not be much, but changing some elements of the controls a and increasing the overlapping tolerance can make it so much better, where as this is my personal opinion, there might be yours too, if so, you're in the right place!

This mod will give you the power to select a pletora of available options related to the ship builder menu, making you able to personalize them with your preference, it also come with some additional presets for quick setups. At this point the only way to configure it, is by re-running the fomod installer that comes with it (see the SETUP GUIDE below), no need to set up any .ini shenanigans. This process will improve in the future when the CK is within modder's grasp.

Supported features you can personalize:
- Overlapping tolerance.
- Floor levels.
- Snapping placement distance.
- Maximum zoom in distance
- Zoom speed
- Panning speed.
- Up/Down speed.

ENHANCED SHIP BUILDER mod's scope is limited to only affect the ship builder menu controls and placement limitations, but if you would like to see this idea expanded to other areas of the game, or any compatibility patches with other mods are necessary, please let me know at the POSTS tab, also let me know if you want to see more options added!

These other mods are a requirement for this mod to function:

Highly recommended mods:

Special Thanks to:
  • Ian Patterson and the SE team for the awesome tool that is SFSE.
  • Bobby Clue for implementing Tom's obvious minimal language into a loader.
