I realize this mod in totality is not for everyone, nor ever has been.
with  couple settings changes it could be used for starfield multiplayer
so it is being ripped apart piece by piece so more people may enjoy it - all in all this mod will breakdown into 50 different mods
the work is nothing if no one plays it

scarfield is the first and fully comprehensive conversion and covers everything but the kitchen sink on the constellation explorer
using other game play mods will almost 99% certainly not work at all - in fact they will likely cause problems
if it changes anything listed in the brief overview, it will cause problems - but hey, graphics mods are cool :)
using peak ai will not work - it will cause a vast amount of problems - use improved combat ai 

if you are not looking for an extreme challenge, move along
if you aren't willing to learn everything through exploration, move along
if you dont like trial and error, move along
if you don't like being butchered, battered, some suffering and being humbled, move along


Scarfield has been tested up to ng+8 and fresh cave starts to level 50, 6 times now

often imitated, never duplicated - someone did try - look for the famous crown
stop me if you have heard any of this before.  this is the original, not the cheap knock off
those who can, do.  those who cant imitate

so you ask, what does this big bitch change...well...everything

all space ships, all space weapons, all space explosions
all space encounters, all space boarding encounters
ship speed is about 4x vanilla speed, from there everything else just gets more challenging

for npcs, everything is legendary - I mean this
there is an active spawn doubler on just about everything

but rewards are better and loot is plentiful, new legendary effects make up for stuff
some legendary effects and a couple of drugs even work on  space combat
this is not an unarmed combat version of starfield.  all melees have been bumped for all npcs - and even humans
the melee npcs have pretty much been removed and replaced with additional heavy weapons npcs

every cct and procedural creature, every planetary creature, overland encounters
this includes effects, magic effects, unarmed damage, damage bonuses, massive health and in general total meanness

every killable npc, from spaces to UC
starborn have undergone vast changes, starborn powers
terromorphs are the big baddasses of the galaxy. 
terromorph red mile - yes, I have completed it, it is the toughest challenge in the scarfield galaxy
yes even the terromorph elders have emerged - no, not on red mile
terrormorphs can be found just about any where

every weapon, every explosion, every projectile, every ammo - all weapons are only quality four
ever unique weapon, most legendary weapon stats - some removed some new added
for a list of explosive and weapon changes go here  - ultra armaments collection

every space suit, every piece of clothing, even a couple of new suit mods
for armor changes visit here - melange of revolutionary accoutrements 

most all envirnomental effects, spell effects, magic effects, equipment bonuses and perks
many skills have been properly updated. 
all drugs have undergone work, many new effects and durations are mostly ten minutes
there are even travel drugs - though they are addictive
land drugs - one drug is 33% jump power and one drug is 260% speed

most any creature or npc maxes at level 999
almost everything scales to slightly below level down to 60%
or at level or even up to 300% of character level
the hp level bonus is down to 24 - it was once as high at 66

24 new weapon types as mostly magazine mods spread across 38 weapons
these include such things as dragon breath shotguns, tesla shotguns, implosive and anti material rifles
better rowland and tech weapons, better shotguns all around, cryosnipers
bridgers and rocket launchers can do things like toxic bombs, poison bombs, napalm
there are even inverted gravity nuclear weapons, dirty radiation nuclear weapons and plain old nukes

almost all new weapon mods utilize an explosion of some type

check every weapon magazine at a workbench, you never know what you will find :)
vanilla id references have been fixed so store new stuff in containers freely

oh and don't always trust the damage listed on the item card :)

this mod originally started in early september 2023 as a ccr script called loots and levels
over one month solid was spent on spaceships and spaceship combat alone
I could write for another hour on what is in this.  I wont bore you with the details, because a lot has not been mentioned here

install
if you activate this in an ongoing game, drop all your weapons and armor and get naked, then activate it
load enemy numbers, skill fixes and community patch above scarfield.esm (and improved combat ai if you use it)
as scarfield changes just about everything, very few mods which alter stuff will work

uninstall. delete scarfield.esm and make a new character

Q&A

Q: what is the range of the sniper rifles: lawgiver, magsniper and hard target ?
A:  about 4000m - well, supposedly.  They can pretty much hit at clipping range, gravity makes it tricky

Q:  Why are weapons so strong?
A:  1:  so npcs can hurt you at any level 
2:  so you can actually hurt npcs when you're level 150 and they are level 350 - it removes bullet sponges much later

Q: why are some weapons better than a hornets nest coachman?
A:  Variety is the spice of life.  There are really no interesting vanilla weapons

Q: I land on a planet and the local wildlife destroys me?! what gives?
A:  because it's a 5meter tall bug with an attitude
no matter what bethesda believes, alien wild life would NOT be cuddly and friendly

Q: but the 1st few planets are too easy.  what gives, this is supposed to be hard
A:  because power scale raises based upon system level

Q:  how hard is a level 100 planet at ng+3  
A:  more than I can possibly explain

Q:  why are some situations unwinnable?
A:  because gaming should not be a cake walk with parades and fanfare
The protagonist should not be god with an automatic weapon
of course you can always use the nuclear bridger as a trump card, but challenges should be had
