Variable Contraband Prices increases the sell price of contraband items in areas where you get scanned, and is required for this addon to work.

This addon allows you to choose an increased value multiplier (2x, 5x, 7x, or 10x) for contraband items.
The original mod without this addon is 3x.

Recommended 5x for high risk high reward smuggling experience.
Recommended 2x for a vanilla+ smuggling experience.
I recommend only using 10x or higher if you also use a mod that increases vendor credits substantially, like this one.

Original mod is required to use this.
The way it works is the author has written a script that, essentially, converts normal contraband items into a modified version of themselves as soon as you enter certain areas, the modified versions of course having the higher values - which I've overwritten with this "addon".

I just threw this together in a few minutes in SFEdit by overriding entries in that mod with new values and slapped a fomod installer on it. So, I opted to upload this as sort of a patch/addon to that mod because I value the mod author's work and want the original mod to receive the attention that it deserves. Yes, that means if you want to use this mod you need to also install the original first and enable BOTH esm's. Sorry, for some reason we hate multiple esm's around here but I can't be bothered to overwrite his work unless he abandons it entirely. The minor changes I made didn't warrant a full reupload in my opinion and this modular addon gives more people more choice as to how high they want their values to be anyways. Thanks for reading.

Please load original mod first in your load order...
Your Plugins.txt should look *something* like this:

This will not need to be updated with game updates unless something breaks or changes in the original mod.

This was originally for personal use, but I decided to upload since I saw others in comments asking for increased values as well.
This will be removed at the request of the original mod author OR when the original mod is updated to include an option for higher values.
