About this mod

Adds a new rifle Mighty F35 / Drum Beat Improved Standalone (does not replace Vanilla Drum Beat, but it uses, for now, the same appearance as the Drum Beat).
Improved damage, range, accuracy, stability, reload and firing speed.
Adds weapon mods such as Piercing Ammo., not available in the vanilla Drum Beat.

Drum Beat Improved Standalone
(FR: Tambour). Adds a new rifle, the Mighty F35. Standalone : does NOT replace Vanilla Drum Beat. But it uses (for now) the same appearance as the Drum Beat.

Improved damage, range, accuracy, stability, reload and firing speed.

Added a better reconnaissance scope, a magazine (larger than average) using "piercing" bullets, not available in the vanilla version, and an improved silencer/suppressor that does not reduce the firing range.

I agree that the damage is too high, I will lower it later, or Not (?).

Disclaimer :

The mod is not finished, but the rifle works, there is only a problem displaying the number (count) of ammunition in the magazine which, for the moment, I cannot correct.
For now, I can't fix it.

But I hope to be able to correct this soon, IF I CAN.
It is very likely that this display problem cannot be solved without the Creation Kit.... :/

Future / Modification of features :
I plan to change the appearance of the rifle (textures, meshes...), but it will take me time, knowing that I'm not very good at that !
And probably a long barrel too, if I can.

I also plan to make this weapon craftable in the workshop: this way, I won't have to modify the lists of leveled items, which should please some people, given that other mods sometimes modify these same lists...

My mod is free to use, anyone can download it and do what they want with it, I consider it as a "modder's resource".
If you want to modify it yourself and make your own mod with it, I allow you, do with it what you want.

Its name : the name of this rifle is not taken from any rifle model existing in reality or from another game, it is a personal choice : the term "F35" refers to the latest, most efficient American fighter plane, available in several versions depending on the army corps (Air Force, Navy...etc.). As for the name "Mighty", you can easily guess that it is a more powerful weapon and therefore "mighty" ! lol

Standalone version :
Given that it is a Standalone mod, it does not modify any weapons, it only modifies 3 leveled item lists to integrate it into the sales list of the 2 merchants in New Atlantis (Centaur and UC Distribution), but if you later delete this mod, these lists will return to their initial state, so installing this mod (this version of the mod) is not very risky, it's not a big deal !

I also recommend that modders, like me : please create "Standalone" mods of items, weapons, armor, clothes...etc. : STANDALONE / Not Replacer !!! :)

Recommendation (Disclaimer 2) :
You can use this mod, but as it is not finished and has some technical and visual issues, I strongly recommend that you do not use it or otherwise, only to test it and/or modify it yourself and even create your own mod, after having carefully saved your game before using it, of course.

Languages :
For the moment, it's a French mod, but everyone can use it, I haven't yet translated the descriptions into English, but that will come, I will then offer 2 mods (2 files more exactly), one FR and the other in English.

Important note :

I forgot one important thing :

This mod adds 4 weapon mods :
- An improved reconnaissance scope.
- A handle and tactical stock.
- An improved silencer.
- A drum magazine using "piercing bullets" which are more powerful than the basic "piercing bullets".

In French, piercing bullets have two different names : "Munitions perforantes" and "Munitions transperceuses", I don't know how these 2 different rifle bullets are translated into English. (?)

These 4 mods can be installed on the original Drum Beat, so even if you don't want the new rifle, you can still use these 4 mods to improve the Drum Beat thanks to these 3 additional mods, they are very interesting !

That said, I haven't finished refining and better adjusting the stats of these mods and also the Mighty. That will also come later.

Also note that these weapon mods require the latest research in Weapon Crafting :
=>> Weapon Crafting Rank 4 (Mod Group 03), with 1 point in Special Project, if I'm not mistaken.

How to get it, two options :

1. When purchasing :

As said above, it is available for sale in 2 stores from level 1 (later, I will increase this level) : at the Centaurian Arsenal store (NA Residential District) and at UC Distribution, NA commercial district.

2. Through the console :

Its nameID : &1_DrumBeat_Mighty_F35
Type : help drumbeat 4 weap
or : help mighty 4 weap, for example, and you will get its ID (or FormID),
and then of course type :
player.additem itsFormID 1

Installation :

- As always, consider installing Plugin.txt Enabler and make sure to configure the StarfieldCustom.ini file correctly.

- Use a mod manager (Vortex or MO2) or copy "Mighty_DrumBeat_Improved.esm" file into the game Data folder : ...\Steam\steamapps\common\Starfield\Data
