Long story short:
This mod removes >80% exploding canisters and various clutter (see last screenshot).
Long story long:
You will no longer get annoyed by some lousy Spacer who chucks grenades like a tennis-ball machine making all these
propane-ethane-methane canisters exploding around you and setting you on fire on planetary bodies without atmosphere and temperatures close to 0 K.
I also was more than baffled when I added some Engineering Bay to my ship, with 3 big propane-ethane-methane, cryo and radioactive canisters on it.
A Space Captain with *some* head on his/her shoulders would never ever allow exploding canisters into a closed oxygen environment.
An expanding civilization with cojones bigger than its head, which also have the guts (impertinence) to get closer to Arcturus and dare to colonize the planetary bodies revolving around it, would probably not use canisters filled with burning gas as source of energy.
Arcturus is a ~7.1 billion years old. Our Amun-Ra is only ~4.6 billion years old.
Notes:
1. Some of the canisters cannot be disabled due to some very specific reasons.
2. Andreja will still sweep the spaceship floor with a broom. In a galaxy conquering era, Va'ruuns probably never heard of vacuum cleaners.
3. Sarah will also sweep the spaceship floor with a broom (from time to time). Probably, she wants to show me yet another skill learned from her mother before our marriage ceremony in Paradiso.
New in version 1.1:
The last screenshot is pretty explanatory.
Installation:
1. Mod Organizer 2.5.0 users - install the mod and fire the game.
2. Vortex users - install the mod, add *SFCivisNoExplodingCanisters.esm to your plugins.txt file and fire the game.
