Ever got tired of massacring an entire planet's worth of aliens just to get a single level? Feel that you don't get enough experience from missions and other activities after a certain level? Tired of that oppressively large experience number that grows seemingly exponentially as you have more fun with the game? Odyssey is here to help!

What the Mod Does:

Odyssey is a mod that uses Real Time Form Patcher to modify the values of all sources of experience and the stats for the experience curve using a simple text file.

Base Odyssey comes with a default configuration designed to keep leveling consistent throughout a playthrough and remove the late game experience grind:
Spoiler:
Show
exponent for experience to level growth: 0
base experience to level growth: 0 exp

base experience to level: 1000 exp

Tiny settlement, miscellaneous, and radiany quests, planetary surveys, and system surveys: 100 exp

Small settlement, miscellaneous, and radiany quests, planetary surveys, and system surveys: 200 exp

Medium settlement, miscellaneous, and radiany quests, planetary surveys, and system surveys: 300 exp

Companion quests, large miscellaneous, radiant, and settlement quests, large planet and system surveys: 400 exp

Main quests: 500 exp

Crafting experience: 0 exp

Lockpick experience by difficulty (left = lowest, right = highest): 10, 20, 30, 40 exp

Experience for killing npcs/ships/etc: 20 exp

You can edit any of these values that you like in the Odyssey.txt file under the SFSE/Plugins/RealTimeFormPatcher folder by changing the number next to the setting you want to change.

Setgs fxpstart 1000000 ; float xpa_xp ; float xpa_xp_mod ; set xpa_xp to (player.getlevel - 1) * 1000 - player.getav experience ; If xpa_xp > 0 ; set xpa_xp to xpa_xp + 1000 ; Endif ; set xpa_xp_mod to xpa_xp - xpa_xp %% 1000 + 0.001 ; 14.cf "ObjectReference.ModValue" 2c9 xpa_xp_mod

Make a NEW SAVE, quit the game, install the mod and load up the  newly created save again ^^
