Installation:
Install like a normal plugin. Unzip the folder and copy the hitmarker folder to your plugins directory, or install via Vortex.
If you prefer a UI for managing the size and opacity of the hit marker, try out the hit marker configuration UI, available as a separate plugin in the optional files section. This requires Neoloader to function, unlike the base hitmarker plugin. When enabled, it replaces the /hitmarker command. It supports the Babel translation library, and can display in English, Spanish, French, and Portuguese.
Usage:
You can customize the size and opacity of the hit marker through game commands.
/hitmarker shows the valid commands.
/hitmarker size <number> Set the size of the velocity indicator.
/hitmarker opac <number> <number> Set the opacity of the hit marker. Use values 1-100. The second number is the "crit" opacity.
Requirements:
Hitmarker has no requirements. It can be optionally managed through Neoloader.
For skin authors:
if your custom skin has a hit_indicator.png file, that image will be used instead of the one that comes with this plugin. Additionally, if your skin has a crit_indicator.png, that image will be applied per-kill. If this image is not present, the standard hit indicator will be magnified a bit instead.
