PS2 Opening Introduction
Allow me to preface on why I chose to create this mod. Despite having been aware of this series for a very long time (shame on me for not playing it any sooner!!) I had only recently begun playing through the series about 2 years ago. One thing that stood out to me were the unique introductions that helped me get an idea of what I was to expect within each game. So you could probably understand the confusion I had when going from Kiwami to Kiwami 2 and seeing there was no intro (or any style switching but I can understand that tbh).
I only recently entered the modding scene and noticed that no one had attempted to restore the introduction... so therefore I brought it upon myself and jeez, it was a lot easier than I thought it'd be...
With that said: this mod does in fact restore the opening that plays on boot (replacing the QLOC screen, but honestly who cares about them...) and even has skipping functionality! (Press your confirm button to skip)
Compatibility: Mostly compatible, supports 日本国 and English
This mod will work with the boot logo skipper, to allow for an intro only boot sequence.
This mod may break mods that modify:
db/XX/sound_movie_info.bin
the rest of the mod has aimed to use existing (but unused files) to ensure maximum possible compatibility
With that said, DO NOT try to use my mod to create other mods WITHOUT requesting permission. I will know that you have and I will not let you go off easily if you do
