Troubleshooting: How to send in your Vortex log file

Help us troubleshoot issues

If you encounter an issue that is not covered by our documentation, it may be advisable to send in your feedback describing the issue, so that our developers can investigate and resolve the issue in the next version of Vortex. To facilitate this process Vortex gives users the option to send in not only a bug report but also attach Vortex files which might help our developers analyse the issue. The following covers how to send in your most recent Vortex log file.

How to send in your log file

  • Click the three dots in the top right corner and select "Send Feedback".

  • Enter a descriptive title and pertinent information.
  • At the bottom, click on "Attach Special File" and select "Vortex Log".
  • After that, just hit "Submit Feedback" in the bottom right corner.
