FNS Larger Prey Animals

This mod makes all of the Stags, Chickens, Does, and Rabbits a little bit larger.
And yes, for the one guy thinking it; the plural of doe, is does.

This mod was made to help the visually impaired and/or those who suck at aiming with the bow.  And no, the animals are not Kaiju-sized, the pictures in this mod page were just there for the lolz.

If the animals sizes need to be increased/decreased to suit your needs, you can easily modify the xml file yourself to scale them in either direction.  I'm not going to do this for you, you can put on your big kid pants and figure it out, I promise it's not hard.  Hint: 1 is the normal number, 1.2 equals twenty percent larger.  If you can't extrapolate that basic math, you need to sort yourself out.

For transparency:
This is not my original work, a user named Khelldon created two similar mods my mod is based off.  I could not get his existing mod to work for 1.0, and I needed an updated version of the mod in the Nexus/Vortex ecosystem to make it easier for me/users to use it as part of my Vortex Collection (mod pack).  If/when Khelldon uploads a working version for 1.0 to Nexus Mods, I will shut down my mod and direct users to download his.  Or, if he wants to take this mod back as his, I will freely turn the reigns over.  All credit for this mod is his.

Installation

There are three options for installation, pick one.

1. Use the Vortex Mod Manager to install just this mod for you.  The Vortex application will run it for you, but you have to launch the game from Vortex.  I generally recommend this option for most users.  Vortex is working fine for me playing with POIs and mods for 7D2D on 1.0.  I have had no issues, and it makes things easy to update/disable mods.   If you have issues with Vortex, lets troubleshoot them together.

2. If you are looking for a full package Quality of Life Vanilla+ experience, I give you my own curated Collection (ModPack) for 7D2D.  It uses the Vortex Mod Manager to install my POIs, this mod, plus some of the best stable QoL mods currently available on Nexus for 7 days to die.    Better 7D2D by FNS

3. Manual Installation:
(for old school modders who like more control)
Download the .zip file
Place the .zip file into your Mods folder and unzip the contents.

Notice 1: This mod is only needed on the server side.

Notice 2: This mod can be loaded into an existing save/world without issue.

P.S. If you like POI mods, you should try the: FNS POI Pack 1.0
There's also a great mod for the loot goblin in your life: FNS's Loot All the Things
Tired of zombies getting cheap shots on you from 3+ blocks away? FNS Reduced Zombie Reach
Wish you could convert arrows into bolts, and bolts into arrows? FNS Transmute Arrows to Bolts
Do you hate inventory management of tree seeds, and wish they'd plant themselves? FNS Self-Planting Trees
Do ya' wanna ride bikes? FNS Super Rad BMX Vehicle Mods

P.P.S. If you like the idea of a one-touch Quality of Life Collection (Mod pack), use this one with Vortex:   Better 7D2D by FNS

P.P.P.S. No more P.Ss.

P.P.P.P.S. Okay, I lied.  Always remember to Endorse good mods and up-vote Collections. It helps the Authors and Curators know you appreciate their work, and it costs you nothing.
